Kensington Euro Cut Poly Max Fly Sheet

I was pretty disappointed with Amazon's choices of fly sheets, until I came across this one. I'm so glad I took the time to really search for what I wanted. I'm surprised this one didn't come up quicker as it is by far the best deal. SIZING: very true to size. I have a 16.2 hand (off the track) Thoroughbred that is built like a typical TB- tall and slender. An 81 fits perfectly. As another reviewer noted about the "COOL BLUE" color, the color isn't exactly as pictured. It's more of a (darker) royal blue. It's gorgeous! It does have the shiny, pretty look and feel as pictured, but the blue is darker. The straps are adjustable and high quality (have a stretchy bungee material in the center) and the sheet seems heavy duty enough to last, but it's not overly heavy. It's the mesh material that allows your horse to air out. I'm very glad I went with this choice. Shipping was also very fast as expected.

I ordered 3 for my horses back in 2015. Due to different sizes we ended up with 1 teal and 2 ice blue. After about 10 wearings, one of the blue ones lost two of the snap hooks. Kensington sent a replacement when I called to tell them what happened. Then the other blue one lost a hook. I replaced it with a carabiner. The fly sheets made it through the rest of the summer.Summer 2016 rolled around and the replacement blue fly sheet lost a snap hook. I replaced it with a carabiner. The horses wore the fly sheets a handful of times last year.Last week they started wearing them again. The replacement blue one was virtually new when I put it on the horse. It lost another snap hook the first day. The teal sheet is fine. Never had an issue with it. The material on all of them have held up well.The horses wore the sheets at most 30 times in the spring/summers of 2015, 2016. I think they should have lasted longer. When the time comes to replace them, I'll find another brand.

Great quality! Fits better than any other fly sheet I've ever used and that's saying a lot. Also lasted the whole season, no tears, no pulls, fabric is slightly shiny and seems to repel dirt unlike most fly sheets that are white and NEVER look clean after day one. Lots of compliments from other horse mom's. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the pic makes the color look totally different than what you really get. It is not the 'ice blue' (light blue) like the pick. It is very vibrant, almost royal blue, still a nice color, but not what I was expecting.

Nicely made blanket but not cut for warm bloods. Way too short on the sides. Not a euro cut as advertised. If u have a narrow girthed horse this would work just fine. I purchased an 84 and on my horse it looked like a pony hand me down. I do like kingsington blankets, they are well made. Maybe I'll try a different style.

VERY POORLY made thin cast metal under belly fasteners broke the first day we used the blanket. We bought two of these, the second blankets buckets broke the second day the blanket was used. We now have to used rope to tie them. NOT the normal quality that we expected from Kensington. EXTREMELY disappointed with these blankets and recommend that you buy something else.

Fits my TWH well. Very light weight. Does not seem to make him hot. Pretty elegant color. Washes easily.Well made. I have only had it a short time so I cannot comment on long term durability.

This sheet didn't come in my horse's normal size (76) so I ordered it in a 78 and it actually fit very well! I have a thoroughbred with narrow shoulders and its very hard to find a blanket that fits him well and doesn't rub, but this one hugs him just right, and the material is very breathable and durable. No holes yet! I'm very happy with this product and will definitely buy from them again.

I am very disappointed in this fly sheet. Just put it on my boy 24 hours and it has a hole already. there is no velcro to hold the front together so it hangs gaping. My old Equs fly sheet lasted a year and a half. Was just shredding now. I believed kensington made a quality product but not in this case. Definitely not worth the price!
