Good size, works well, no leaks.
It has reliably kept my food warm/cold. I've even used it to make on the go oatmeal by putting oatmeal and boiled water in, with a spoon of jam or nutella, and then eaten it several hours later. Stays warm, no leaks. Only suggestion would be for an included fork/spork, otherwise awesome!

Does not leak!!!
I commute to work by bicycle 3 days a week, to and from about 6 miles a day. That means lunch goes inside my backpack along with my work clothes. The only thing worse than getting to work and finding a puddle in the bottom of your lunch bag, is getting there and finding the container of gumbo has busted open and soaked everything inside (had to work in my gym clothes that day). I have tried all manner of containers, wrapped them in Ziplocks, and even strapped my lunch box to the outside of my backpack. Nothing keeps leaking away... Until this Stanley Food Jar.I have opened my bag up to find it upside down for 8 hours. I even put it upside down on a white plate for an entire weekend. NO Leaks!!Cleans easy (in dishwasher), large opening to get at food, and easy to use. I love this Jar!!I have not tried the heat retention qualities, but I put hot food in it once and about 3 hrs. later still warm/hot.May get the lunchbox.If you need a durable, easy to use, easy to clean, leak-free lunch storage solution , this is it!!
