So, my welder says it can feed aluminum through the sleeve and comes with a different insert for aluminum. But being a beginner and a hobbyist, I was happy to spend a little extra on this. It's a little different getting used to holding it, but works great! The feed settings on my welder work well with it, and it is so much easier as a beginner than worrying about binding or breaking in the sleeve of the default welder attachment. Would highly recommend!

Cheap price does what's expected but wire craimps aren't installed very tight from factory. Easy fix, second one I bought for a second machine if that says anything. I'm liking the capability for small projects.

I'll give it five stars because of yeswelders customer service. The gun works great although i believe mine came missing the piece that applies pressure to the spool so it doesn't free spin inside the gun. I contacted yeswelder through email and after sending them pictures they told me to keep this gun and they will send me a whole new unit free of charge. I will continue to buy yeswelder products after this excellent customer service experience good job guys and girls!

Good spool gun to get small projects done. Some plastic parts will wear out after heavy use. The parts can be replaced

Bought this spool gun for use with my Yeswelder 250 Pro. The gun is easy to setup and balances well in my hand and it is well constructed. Most spool guns have a clear plastic cover over the feeding mechanism this one has a black plastic cover but there really is no need to view the mechanism once the wire is fed through.I get better aluminum welds with this spool gun vs the mig gun with Teflon liner and I don't have to be concerned about keeping the hose from crimping. The spool gun nozzle also rests well in my mig gun nozzle holder. This spool gun comes with extra tips and a wrench.

I give props for YESWELDER for immediately refunding my money for a gun that wouldn't feed I am not confident that another gun will feed any better. When I removed the tip form the gun (everything brand new) the gun spits out the liner... if that's occurring then the wire is sticking in the liner. Motor runs fine.. tension as tight ass it can go.. but no joy...wire just slipsI think YESWELDER should do some more work on this gun to get it to function fully reliably... my other inexpensive spool guns (Vulcan) run rolls and rolls of aluminum wire with no issuesInexpensive spool guns are great for hobbyists who want to try their hand at aluminum mig. My Miller spool gun was 3k. Im going to continue to make suggestions to YESWELDER and maybe this gun will become reliable
