Drift Car Air Freshener - Wood Air Freshener - Car Odor Eliminator - Teak Scent Starter Kit

I got the teak scent with the starter kit. It was easy to clip onto the sun visor, and the smell is phenomenal. I would describe the teak as a warm, slightly woody cinnamon. It reminds me a lot of cinnamon extract or cinnamon essential oil. It's a good unisex fragrance in my opinion, though I know some may find it too masculine. If you prefer very feminine scents, I would suggest avoiding the teak.I just put it in my car, so I will try to remember to update this on the longevity of the scent once it finally fades. I'll be able to decide whether it's worth it or not by how long it lasts. Initially, at least, this gets 5 stars.Small update - About 3 days after putting this in my car, the intensity of the scent dropped. It's not so powerful that every inhale inside my car smells like intense teak, but it's still pleasant.5/31/25 - The scent has lost more intensity. I still catch it as I enter the car which is nice, I assume my passengers think my car smells nice when they step in, but otherwise I don't really catch it. I live in SoCal and my car sits in the sun, and I noticed the intense heat causes the oils to seep out of the block. I attached a pic that shows what I mean. I suspect the scent molecules are being destroyed by the SoCal heat, and if I had my car in a cooler location during the day, the scent would be staying around much longer (and the oils wouldn't be seeping out the wood).Before you buy this, consider how hot the interior of your car will get during the day when not in use. Too much heat will destroy the scent molecules and shorten the lifespan of this air freshener.

100% reccomend the coconut & pistachio scent. I have bought it 7 times (as is was May Scent of the month, it is no longer available directly from drift website). The first order I placed was through drift website at the end of May for 6 wood blocks, in a total of 4 different scents. The coconut pistachio, open air, cabana, and grove. I received my order on June 1, And my teenagers and I are all obsessed with the coconut pistachio smell, and were seriously bummed when I got on the website to order more of this scent and it was no longer on the drift website, as it was a limited addition scent of the month. So I checked Amazon and found it here and have bought 7 bars since then, and about to order 2 more right now. My only complaint is that it is more expensive to order it here on Amazon, as you dont get the same discount as buying direct from drift (I bought 6 bars directly from them for less than the price of 3 bars here on Amazon).

Had such high hopes, but unfortunately the strong scent still didn't permiate the room. I magnetised these to the air vents throughout my apartment thinking this would be a very pleasant scent for each room & a smart solution, but after a day or two we couldn't smell them any longer. The scent was extremely powerful upon first opening the pkg though.

This is one of the most sought after scent for me! Not overwhelmingly citrusy but also not fake either. I like how there’s no guessing where to magnetically attach the air freshener. I don’t have a problem with it being strong out of the package. I actually keep it in the package but open and just in a cubby hole on the dash because it’s that strong. That also indicates how the company did not skimp on the oil. But there also isn’t so much that you’ll have to worry about leakage or anything. Since it’s oil based, when taking it out of its package you will get some of the oil on your hands. It fits neatly on its metal plate and not heavy at all to fall when driving with the visor down. Over this set will last me at least 6 months so it’s worth it.

First of all this scent (cabana) has a very oak-heavy smell. I’m not sure if that was the underlying scent of the wood block or the cabana scent itself, but it was not at all what I was expecting, and I didn’t care for it at all. Secondly, the visor clip didn’t even slightly fit on the visor of my 2025 rav4. I had to open it all the way and even then it wasn’t wide enough and ended up sticking off on the front edge, which just loooed silly and defeated the purpose of buying such an expensive, sleek-looking air freshener. They need to release more options for holders for people whose visors don’t work with the one and only option they currently offer. Or offer a wider clip option. The only positive about this is that it does look quite sleek, which is a major pro compared to other car air fresheners. So with better scent options (can we get something lavender based? Or something else floral? Less woods and more herbal), and another option for mounting, I would be willing to purchase from this brand again. However, until then, I can’t recommend, based on an overwhelmingly woody scent and useless clip, especially with such a high price tag.

Wow. Saw this all over Instagram and social media as well as some TV ads so I had to give it a shot.Teak scent is sensationally phenomenal, friends absolutely love the smell.I drive Lyft on the side of my job, lots of positive compliments.Definitely better than the little trees that usually lose their scent after a week or two.I like that it's essential oils and no harsh chemicals and the smell is not insanely overpowering but definitely refreshing.
