The Phantom of the Opera: for Flute

I don't play the flute but my 7th grader does. She loves playing from this and I have to say it has beautiful arrangements for the flute. We love it when she plays for us. She has been playing flute for 1-1/2 years before she got this. She found it not too easy and not too hard. She's been very happy with it.

My daughter is obsessed with this musical. She is in love with this book & practices with it daily.

Purchases as a birthday gift for my sister. She loved it! I even went back and purchased an additional one for me. Fairly simple and straight forward notation - nothing too tricky in this book.

I haven't picked up a flute for 50 years, but my family gave me a one for Christmas. Since I didn't have music, I decided to order The Phantom of the Opera because at least I know the music. It's been a week since I got the book, and it's amazing how quickly my skills are improving. At first I could only blow air, but I was motivated to make a sound! I started with "Think of Me" and soon was able to move on to the other songs in the book. The only thing I dislike about the book is that you definitely need a piano accompaniment as there are lots of measures that are rests -- and playing solo with most of these songs doesn't work. You might want to order the piano book, too. Still, I am pleased to be playing my heart out in the privacy of my own home.

My daughter LOVES the music from Phantom of the Opera. This book of sheet music from her favorite musical has been wonderful. She plays it all the time. While it might be easy for some flute players, it was perfect for my daughter. So much enchanting music of the night!

I live this music. I sang it in school. Always wanted the music to play. Great piece. the only thing is I wish it had the cd to go with it. I would like to play along with it. I do not remember how come of it goes.

The only thing "bad" about this book is that it doesn't have a piano accompaniment book that goes along with this. The songs are written perfectly and they're easy to perform too. This book is made for a beginner looking to play some fun and well-known' songs.

Einfach nur super. Die Lieder sind, meiner Meinung nach, leicht zu spielen und man erkennt sie direkt wieder. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Mache Lieder Sind vielleicht schwerer zu spielen als manch andere, aber dann hat man etwas worauf man hin arbeiten kann.Einziges aber - eine CD wäre gut gewesen. Bei Prima Donna hat man 8 Tackte Pause. Und Think of Me ist, würde ich behaupte, deutlich kürzer als im Musical. Also reicht der Musical Soundtrack nicht als Play-Along aus.

I am a huge Phantom fan so I instantly knew I had to buy this when I saw it. The music is great and very clear and easy to read, there are a few sections of the pieces that are missing but I don't find this to be a massive issue. I am around a grade 3-5 (abrsm) flute player and I find these pieces fairly simple to play although for beginners there are quite a few higher notes which could make it challenging (high E,F,G,A if I remember correctly).

Der Artikel kam schnell bei mir an. Das Level entspricht einem guten Mittelmaß. Manchmal muss man doch sehr hoch gehen vom der Tonspanne. Es macht sehr viel Spaß die Stücke zu spielen und direkt wieder zu erkennen
