9-Inch Wireless Car Stereo with Carplay, Backup Camera, GPS Navigation, Android Auto - by LAMTTO

I received my wireless car stereo (Smart Screen) this afternoon. I haven't installed it yet but after opening the package I felt like I had to write my initial review ( I will update it after installation). My first impression is that this company cares about their product. It came very well packaged. The owners manual is well written and easy to follow. Included in the box is the smart screen, power cable (uses USB-C), two mounting brackets with mounting disks, auxiliary cable with a trim panel removal tool and of course the back up camera with the cables. Included on each individually packaged item is a sticker with tips for ease of installation. There is also a QR code that you can scan with your phone to watch a YouTube installation video. I have purchased other similar car play devices and have been disappointed by them in the past. However, after inspecting this item I am already impressed by their quality and attention to details.I will be installing this Smarts Screen wireless car stereo in a few days and will provide an update to my review.4/7/25 Update: Well I installed the Smart Screen last night. It took me about 20 minutes most of which was trying to figure out where I wanted to mount it. First off the large display is great and very responsive to touch. Using Apple or google maps looks great on the large clear display. The auto dim feature help tp prevent glare from the screen when driving at night.It boots up much faster that other models that I have tried and after setting up the blue tooth and FM transmitter all sound comes through the radio nice and clear. Using the hands free for calling is great. The built in microphone picks up my voice and callers say that they can hear me very well. I haven't tried the back up cam yet as I and waiting for dry weather before running the wire to the back of the truck. I have a feeling that the back up cam will work just fine.Update: 4/25/25: After using the Smart Screen wireless car stereo for a few weeks I can say that I am very pleased. For starters, I have not had any issues with mounting the device. The suction cup with the extendable arm seems to be holding the Smart Screen securely. I like that they provide more than one method for mounting it.As for the back up camera, installation took about an hour after running the cable and mounting the camera. The picture is very clear and there is no delay when the truck in put in reverse. The large screen and adjustable guide lines make it easy to see when backing up.I recently reached out to their customer service with a question about using the AUX cable for sound. The next morning I received an email with suggestions that were very clear and helpful in solving my issues. I am very happy with their product and customer support. I highly recommend the Smart Screen Wireless Car Stereo as an alternative for older vehicles.

Setting up Android Auto was pretty easy. I appreciated the wireless connectivity to my phone. The integration is seamless; I can access maps and music just by turning on the car without plugging in my phone which would have becoming a drag to plug in my phone to the unit every time i got in the car as my cars bluetooth wasn't working and my phone doesn't have an AUX port I liked that this have a AUX port to conect to the car and it just work.The 9 ich display is fantastic for navigation and readability of the text is great. The touch screen is a great just don't type to fast or it may hang abit to complete input but generally it's pretty responsive.Plus it fit pretty well where I placed it so it's easy to reach.An impressive aspect of my experience has been the customer support. I did have an issue with the display not turning on a few weeks in, so i reached out to customer support, and the support team was incredibly responsive. Not only did they reply promptly to my inquiries, they also sent clear instructions on how to update the firmware once they found what my issue was. They guided me through the troubleshooting process without issue.Overall its user-friendly interface, quick support and seamless integration with my phone is top notch for the price I paid vs the $1000+ quote I got from a stereo store for installation on a wired stereo without android auto.

Got this for my work van as it only had Bluetooth capability for phone calls and its amazing!! Loads up quickly and the suction cup is strong! Holds it up with no problem in this position even with the weight of the unit. Highly would recommend this for any older vehicles or that don't allow Bluetooth for music/maps etc! Haven't hooked up the camera as it won't reach the back of my Gmc savanna but that was expected so I can't comment on the quality of that. Only thing I wish it could do is rotate so I could've had it so the cords were on the right side vs the left but I just taped the cords onto the dash so they stayed out of the way

It works great and does everything CarPlay can do, instructions were clear but the way they set it up the display was very confusing and the Apple CarPlay doesn’t have Bluetooth in the settings option which I guess whenever u connect to CarPlay that means Bluetooth, idk it’s still just confusing and works great. Also something I learned the hard ish way, when it says leave the red adhesive on for 24 hours before applying, just don’t put it on at all, waste of time, because when I suction cupped the stick and the CarPlay to it, it fell off an hour later, so just take the suction cup that’s on the stick and connect it to the back of the screen and stick it wherever, works way better and doesn’t ever fall off. Thank me later
