Amefa Modern Bliss Stainless Steel Cutlery Set 16 Piece 4 Person

We bought after using this brand at “Lounges” chain of pubs. Good quality, nice heavy cutlery. The only issue is finger marks as it is highly polished surface. So lay the table with a tea towel on hand. Would recommend.

Bought these for everday. They are nice and heavy and wash well. Very pleased with them. So pleased I bought another set.

Received these today, upon first inspection in the window of the box where 4 pieces are displayed I noticed that the fork had 2 tongues bent, not impressed but I was able to bend them back so they was 'nearly' level. I opened the box to check the other items and out of the 16 items, 2 forks had bent tongues and 2 spoons were also bent ! Just recently all my purchases seem to have defects, is there no quality anymore ? The teaspoons feel fragile and I don't think they would last for squeezing teabags without bending but stirring a cup of tea or eating a dessert they would be fine. On the positive side, after a good scrub (which they needed) they came up clean and shiny and the knives feel sharp. I think this would be a good set to get you going, a first cutlery set, but if your after a quality dining piece then you should definitely look elsewhere. Sorry I couldn't be more positive, just being honest, these will do me for a while until I find a bargain set to upgrade. 3/5.

The cutlery set was thinner and the quality was not what I expected.
