Q: I need to remove these self contact adhesive strips from a few windows. Removing the strips is no problem but it leaves a residual on the window glass

Spray some WD40 on the window & leave for 20 / 30 mins then rub with fine wire wool . Should do the job !

Yes it does I have mended my mock stained glass front door window as bits get broken off by the over enthusiastic window cleaner ! Good luck !

Q: Does this item come in a dark silver colour ?

Lead is a natural base metal, when the strip is manufactured it’s a bright shiny colour but over a period of time it darkens naturally

Q: Hi would i have to lead both sids of the door.Allan 20 October 2015.

I originally planned to do both sides of the door, however I did not take into eccount the fact that The double glazed front door meant that it would look OK from a distance but from close up the lead would not look aligned due to the gap between the glass. I decided that it would be better just to do the outside only. If you have just a single glaze then I would do both.
