Remington HC6525 Color Comb Vacuum Haircut Kit, Vacuum Trimmer, Hair Clippers, Hair Trimmer, Clippers, White

I got this due to COVID-19 social distancing preventing my family from getting professional haircuts. Now I think I will use it regularly, at least on my little boy (age 3). I cut his hair and his father's, which is extremely thick and wavy. After watching several videos online, I felt brave enough to try it, and was happy with the results using this clipper set. It's clearly a skill that requires some practice to perfect, but these haircuts were good enough on the first try.Watch some videos to understand the various sized guide combs. They really do make it easier than with scissors for the non-professional, and you can work in increments. It's easier to cautiously cut a little more, and a little more.This is a good set for family use. It has everything you need, some basic instructions to orient you, and the color coding on the guide combs makes finding the one you want a bit faster. The vacuum chamber filled up quickly, but helped make the mess less than what it would have been.

I did not expect such a good product, but Remington is always awesome and last a long time. Works as advertised and make cleaning an ease. Also the guides go up to "8" which is the perfect length for my hair, and makes me look great, it even come with a neck guard trimmer for the back which is great but is a bit small, and my fat neck it barely reached to my entire hairline. Besides that your get alot for the price, and I am vary happy with the purchase.

Like many others, during the global pandemic I have gone far longer than I am used to without getting a haircut. This Remington set came up when I was searching for a home haircut kit. Some of the things that appealed to me about it:- Name brand (Remington)- Appeared to be pretty comprehensive as far as accessories included etc- Nice carrying case- Vacuum to pick up loose hairs- Good price (at least MSRP is, seeing some crazy 3rd party prices because things are selling out)This set comes packed in a plain, brown cardboard box... “frustration free packaging” which was a surprise. That doesn’t bother me in the slightest, but just be aware that it doesn’t come in a nice looking retail box. I only mention that in case you are planning to gift it to someone.In the box is the corded trimmer (which I guess some people think is cordless based on the pictures, but it is corded), and all the misc accessories individually wrapped in plastic. Pretty straight forward.We did a home haircut in about 20 minutes. 4 on the sides and back, 6 on top. I was surprised how nice it turned out on a first try, and quite frankly it makes me wonder why I ever went to a barber in the past. This thing pays for itself after maybe 2 uses.The only bad things I can say about it are:- The scissor is hilarious. It’s like a tiny toy scissor. If I decide that I will need to use a scissor for my haircut, I’d need to order a different one.- The vacuum thing works GREAT but just remember it’s a small little container, so if you’re cutting a lot of hair you’ll find that it fills up very frequently.- The cord is kinda... frail/thin. Just doesn’t strike me as being quality.- Lack of decent instructions. I have no idea what many of the accessories are or how to use them.I also find it odd that this review is actually prompting me to give a star rating for the Battery. It’s not wireless. It’s a corded unit.For the price, can’t beat it. It’ll pay for itself fast and I was really surprised how well it worked for my first home haircut.

I wasn't sure if the vacuum would really work but I was happily surprised on just how well it did! I wasn't able to find much in the line of videos with people actually using it, so I was a little leery on trying it. With this Covid thing going on I decided to go ahead. I was truly surprised on just how well it worked. It's easy to use and the color coded guards is a nice touch. The vacuum worked so well, I don't need to even worry about hair falling on me! The only thing I wished is that Remington would have made some " HOW TO VIDEOS" available to help with the learning curve on which guard to use where and such. As for the clippers themself, bottom line is they're excellent and I wouldn't hesitate in buying them. Hardest part is to find a decent YouTube vid to help show you how to give yourself a haircut.

I use this about once a month to clip my hair and it is awesome not to have any clean up after! It leaves so little hair on me that I can actually clip my hair in the morning and not have to immediately shower to prevent itching from hair all over my neck and back. I like being able to do my own hair and it’s possible because the clippers are not heavy. I have neuropathy in my hands and arms so heavier clippers give me more trouble and I used to need someone else to clip my hair.

The product photo of it gives the impression that it is cordless, but it is not. That's no big deal to me because batteries eventually fail, chords don't unless incredibly abused, and the chord doesn't get in the way.Cuts well without snagging. Not loud when operating indicating smoothly functioning mechanical internals. Accessories attach easily and firmly. The hair reservoir needed to be emptied twice while I was cutting hair since it isn't very large, but that was based upon a visual inspection, not because a full reservoir was impeding the vacuum function of the clippers. The reservoir is easy to remove and replace.

I thought it was cordless. Very disappointed with it. The advertising pictures did not show the cord at all. Also advertising clipper did not mention nor emphasized that it is corded. I am thinking about returning it. All I want is cordless one. Overall positive is that Its wonderful very color of combs and vacuum cutting hair as much as it is. Pay attention to the reviews. Worth to read them! They said the same thing. Advertising- a white lie.

I bought this to be able to get my hair cut during the Covid-19 shutdowns. My wife watched a few YouTube videos about how to cut hair. The first haircut she gave me was every bit as good as a professional barber. She has given me 2 more haircuts and they all turned out great. Easy to use and the vacuum feature is great. No hair all over the place.

The many guides are very helpful to get the perfect height.Easy to use, and the vacuum feature makes cleanup a breeze. You will have to empty the vacuum multiple times to finish a haircut, but I still find it easier than the alternative mess that would have been on the floor.
