Spartan Warrior Costume

At $30+, this costume set is a tad pricey for what you get. Mine came with everything that was listed on this site: cape, skirt, wide "leather" belt, wrist guards, helmet, and medallion. The helmet was--as has been noted in other reviews--slightly mashed from being shipped in a bag, but there was no glue residue and the nosepiece could be bent back into shape. I didn't wear it for the party I attended, but my daughter likes playing with it. I wore my own sandals and they fit the overall look well. The cape flows quite dramatically; probably my favorite part. I felt a bit like a proud warrior as it flared behind me when I moved. The skirt fit well too. Sheer, but it covered plenty of me and I paired it with some boxer briefs in a matching color. Simple and effective. The cape is only cut to expose your right arm and chest. I'm left-handed, so I just switched drinks to my right. The medallion kept it from slipping or bunching and the wide belt complimented the skirt and wrist guards well. Tie 'em tight and they'll stay in place. If you want it a bit tighter/revealing, skip a size down; want a little more coverage? Go up a size. I thought it fit really well.Overall, a great costume. I had fun wearing it, it was comfortable, I was complimented on it many times, and it held up well. I'll probably wear it again, and more than once. Again, the price was a little high, but worth it.

For halloween, I wanted to be King Leonidas, and this costume is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Both the cape and skirt are very thin, so don't go out trekking in a snowstorm like I did; you will be very cold! I only had two issues with this costume: 1) the opening for the head on the cape was rather large. I'm 5'10", 160 pounds, and muscular. I had to pin the cape to make it a little more snug around my neck. I can imagine that everyone will have the same problem I did. The length of the cape was perfect though. And 2) the accessories are a pain to put on. The plastic medallion, the cuffs, and the belt all need to be tied. You need someone else to tie the cuffs for you. As for the mask, it's kind of weird and rubbery; I ended up super gluing the flaps to the nose piece. I would recommend getting a hard plastic or metal helmet. All in all, it's a pretty badass costume

I purchased this item to wear to a costume party and ordered a size Large. I am 5"10 and 200 lbs in good shape. It fit perfect for my body type and I received numerous compliments all night about the outfit. This was of a better quality of material and workmanship than most costumes I have bought and worn in the past and can easily be worn multiple times.The cape is a great fit and comfortable. The skirt looks good and fit well, it initially had a a little bit of a flair at the bottom so I cut about a 4" slit at the seam on both sides which seemed to take that out and gave it a better fit for me. This may be due to my body shape, I needed the large as my chest measurement is 46" and my waist is 31" so most my clothes have to be tailored anyway.The headpiece is not usable, I wore it for a few minutes but quickly took it off, it is hot and uncomfortable but the outfit looked great without it so no major issue for me.This outfit is revealing, when out on the dance floor so those who are super modest may want to consider wearing a pair of shorts under the skirt if that is an issue depending upon what type of party it is and the audience.

Great product! Well, at least some of the stuff is good. The cape is good, the straps on the legs are good, the shorts are good, but the helmet is all shriveled up and where the heck is my sword and shield. The helmet looks so deformed and it’s so squishy and the nose looks like a tiny wrinkly elephant trunk and any Spartan warrior would be embarrassed with that helmet. It looks like the left side of my head was beaten with a bat. I would be terrified if someone on Halloween came to my door with that helmet on. My Mom was so embarrassed for me that she isn’t even letting me wear the helmet for Halloween. Also, the picture you see on Amazon is kinda click baitish not gonna lie. Everything else is great and works. The helmet would be great for scaring people on Halloween and for target practice.

Doesn’t come with shoes, so you will have the buy your own shoes. The helmet is no good, it’s flappy and ill fitted. But the costume itself is amazing. I ordered a size medium.

We just loved this costume for my husband. It’s more Roman than Greek but it worked for Perseus and Medusa costumes. It didn’t come with the ab tshirt we ordered that separately but the whole costume was worth it. We got a ton of compliments.
