Great solution to charge my Surface Pro on the go
I needed something to charge my Surface Pro, and my preferred vendor, Anker, does not sell anything for that. After reading lots of reviews, I took a chance on the BatPower ES15. I've been quite pleased. I got my Surface running hard enough to activate the fan and put off some heat, and the ES15 seems to keep up just as well as having it plugged into the wall on the original power supply. I've charged my Surface off the ES15 to 100% from less than 40% twice, while using it, and the indicator still showed two out of four lights, meaning I'd only used half the power. As a bonus, the ES15 comes with an AC power supply to charge the ES15 that you can plug the Surface connector into and run off the wall. The extra power supply I bought to carry around with me was not needed. Also supported, according to the manual, is chaining from wall to battery to Surface, to charge both the battery and the pad simultaneously.Recharging the ES15 with the including AC power supply worked fine, I left it plugged in over night and found it fully charged. It will also take a USB, but I would expect it to take longer to top off. I haven't tried this.Of course, there are normal USB ports so I can charge my phone as well, from both the ES15 and the AC power supply. My Samsung S7 Edge gets fast charging from both, as long as I plug into the orange port. The unit itself and all the included cables seem sturdy and well made. No rattles, no blemishes. The one thing to be careful of is the size. It's the same width and thickness of an Anker 10k or 27k battery, but because I got the ES15, it is much longer. I'm fine with this. If you aren't, get one of the lower mAh units, and plan on getting fewer full charges.

Worked great for a year, samsung cells, good internals
I had this for about 11 months and used it multiple times (more than 10 less than 20). It stopped charging so i dismantled (no warrenty unless you buy direct). The voltage was at 1.5v for the pack so I give *credit* that it did the right thing and stopped charging. To dismantle, the ends have strong adhesive that softens with heat and the main pack is held in with what seems to be about 5 quarts of hot glue (seriously, there was a lot of hot glue in there). They used twelve ICR18650-26J M cells which are Samsung unprotected 18650s from SDI Energy Malaysia. I intend to test and repurpose. I gave a high rating, despite it failing on me, because as you can see in the pictures, it has at least 3 temp sensors on both sides, used real Samsung cells and was pretty well secured. It's a solid battery pack. I wish mine lasted longer, but i'm really glad it refused charge when it dropped below minimum volts.

56KmAh, a huge but great power bank for Microsoft Surface devices.
After a whole lot of research, I ended up ordering the 56000mAh BatPower Power Bank(ProE 2 ES15) for use my 13-inch Surface Book 2 and Surface Pro. I was looking for something compatct with a good amount of juice that wouldn't leave me handing white out and about. If you are looking for external laptop power banks, you are also going to want to stay on the DC side of things. If you get an AC/DC converter AC to DC you lose efficiency vso you are effectively throwing out the battery capacity.I wanted something much simpler, with less areas that were just asking for failure. Also I don't like buying into an older generation of technology for the new Surface and older Surface devices. The DC output on the BatPower sets from 15V/12V which is great because the newest Surface devices needs 15V and older devices needs 12V. The USB QC 3.0 output is 5V to 12V with 3A, and dual USB A outputs 5V 2.1A each, fast charging for any smartphones, it's great to have that kind of output on this power bank.the Slim AC Adapter output can directly charging for the BatPower Power Bank and Surface device. It easily recharged my Surface internal battery, around 3 times full charges for my Surface devices.56000mAh is a huge battery pack so don't be surprised, the sizes and weight maybe is not your needs Like some small 5000mAh power banks, so it's 9inch length and around 2lbs weigh, I tested it takes 3 to 4 hours for it to charge fully. At the BatPower Power Bank, which I've been very pleased with.

Great option to recharge your Surface Pro on the go
I needed a solution to keep my Surface Pro and external portable monitor powered up while on the go. The BatPower ProE 2 ES15B seems to be the best option that comes with a dedicated cable with a Surface Pro specific connector and three USB ports for charging (or powering up) other mobile devices. The power bank works and recharges as advertised. This larger 210 watt unit is a bit heavy, but an acceptable sacrifice to have extra recharge capability available when needed. The included power supply is a perfect substitute for the stock Surface Pro power adapter when an outlet is available because I can also power up the external portable monitor and recharge another mobile device (stock power adapter only has one USB port) without tying up the one USB port on the Surface Pro. This higher capacity 210 watt unit is a little pricey but the investment was worth it for me, especially when I need the extra power.

NOT allowed on planes
You CAN NOT bring this product on to a commercial flight. In checked or carry on baggage. Probably an awesome product if you travel by land only.

Refuses to charge at all after less than 4 months and only 4 full charge/recharge cycles.
I've had this unit for a little over four months, and in that time it went from great to useless. After less than four complete charge/recharge cycles it will no longer charge at all.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!
