Used to make Buche de Noel, had once in France, but to buy in uk £40 a cake, so made my own for £10, better than traditional chocolate log. left over will use in yoghurt. Not very sweet and good hint of chestnuts. It is expensive but only buy once a yr.

This french cream is delicious! Perfect with a yogurt for example.

Absolutely perfect for homemade crepes.

Thpught was buying chestnut purée to make chestnut stuffing for Christmas. Just opened, is semi liquid , over 40% sugar plus other stuff such as marrow jam. Looking more closely says ,chestnut spread but ptobably too runny for that even and so sweet it's horrible.

We love this brand of Creme de Marrons, that was delivered at the time given. We bought two 500gm tins but the only irritation was that both tins had dents in the metal. It has not impaired the contents but still rather disappointing in terms of the look of the tin.

A little dessert from Switzerland, take a meringue nest crush and place in a dessert dish, then a tbs scoop of creme de marron and drop in the middle, cover with lots of greek yogurt full fat of course and then springle with chocolate vermicelli. Now endulge the taste buds in your mouth, the perfect dessert for friends easy to make and sublime. dig the spoon in to get a layer of all three ingrediants.
