Make no mistake this is a quality brush cleaner hence the 5 star rating. It's primarily designed for artists more so than say, a wall painter. Its a great brush cleaner, heavy duty and sturdy. I only wish the inserted cleaning strainer was deeper set. the cleaning cup is pretty high up which means you need to add way more paint thinner to fill it up to the level of the cleaning filter than you'll probably need. I'm trying to figure out a way to get/buy/create a strainer cup insertion that's set lower inside the container. I haven't found one yet. Still, sealable washing cups of this design type are all made pretty much this same way. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one right here on amazon.

I've had this brush cleaning container for about a year now and it's great. The lid seals on tightly so it doesn't leak. The holes allow for the paint to settle in the bottom, leaving clean solution at the top. I recently cleaned it out for the first time and it was super easy. My only mild complaint is that the latches are a little stiff, however that allows for a tight seal.

I replaced my very worn old solvent holder with this one and I love it - the lid seals nicely, preventing evaporation and my toddler getting into it. I wasn't sure I was going to like the holes for cleaning my brushes vs the mesh I was using before, but the holes work just fine. It's actually a very smooth cleaning process. It even has a little metal piece to strain the brush so that the outside of the container doesn't get all paint covered (not that I've ever minded paint covered items lol, but it's good to not have wet chemicals around kids)

Very nice quality, seals well, and perfect size. Roughly the size of an average pickle jar, and the internal screen is set about 1/2 down, so this will accumulate plenty of junk/sediment before you have to change out the brush cleaner solvent, so thats a big plus. Very well thought out design, and setup in a way that will minimize waste. Very happy with it.

Got this thinking I'd need it for solvent for oil paints but ended up using it for plain water for acrylics and watercolors. It's a nice little bucket.And even though the main can is stainless steel, they didn't use that on the rivets that holds the handle. After a few months of use they've started to rust. I like the spill proof lid since my car just loves to knock things off the counter/table and I've had a lot of drinks, brush water, well, anything that's not nailed down, end up on the floor.

This solvent container does a good job of holding a fair amount of solvent and the internal screen allows solids to settle to the bottom and thus keep the solvent usable longer. The container is very sturdy and the lid seals tight with a rubber gasket. Great accessory if you're an oil painter.

This cleaning bottle is the perfect size to carry for plein air painting. It doesn't leak, the brush cleaner works well and doesn't harm my brushes, and the mineral spirits stay clean on top. This one seemed like the best value, too.
