Can you turn the steam function off?

Yes, the steam function can be turned off, if desired, via a 2-position switch located at the front of the handle. Immediately behind it is a thumb operated 'booster' control which, I have discovered, permits 'steaming' to occur even when set in the 'off' position. Hope this helps.

I haven’t tried it but I don’t think it would be a problem for this iron , it’s quite a powerful iron with a lot of steam

Will this iron work in US?

You will need a transformer as voltage in the UK and the USA is different. Not just an adaptor plug. I do not see why you woukd want to buy an iron in Europe to use in America. If you were travelling, most hotels provide irons nowadays. If you are living there, it would be a million times safer to use an iron that was made to work in the USA. Besides it is not that great of an iron. It is not ergonomic and it is heavy and takes only 200 ml of water in the tank. I used a half litre bottle to measure and did not go close to mid of bottle and iron was full. It is quite a disappointment really.

Does this iron worked in pakistan?

You can use this iron in Pakistan, you will need a D type plug. However, you do not have an international guarantee in Pakistan. If you have fault with the product you will need to contact the seller.
