Expect quality, Starrett delivers
Quality tool. Unlike many of the punches on the market you can really feel your strike move through the tool. The tooling on the side makes it very easy and comfortable to hold while working overhead or in tight spaces. With such a quality tool I have no reservations using it in dense hardwoods or on expensive pieces of furniture.

Works great in getting roll pins out while under side pressure.
I use it at work where I'm constantly disassembling and reassembling after repairs small items used in our machines. I had been using another brand, but after the fourth time of breaking them in a month, I wanted to try these. So far I've used it about 30 times and I don't see any hint of bending the punch. With the other brand, I would have been straightening them by now at least once.
