Q: if i am a size UK 6 should I order a size 7?

The zip broke on these quickly on me it's not very good quality . They are small sizes yes x

Q: what colours are the laces?

Black laces with 4 extra pairs of other colours I think red, yellow, blue and green

Q: Are they wide at the end of the shoe where the toes are or are they skinny?

There is plenty of room at the toes, definitely NOT squashed into a point. Easy to put on and great when it’s a bit muddy but you need to do a lot of walking. They really save the bottom of your leggings/trousers. My advice- buy them you won’t regret it😊

Q: Are they ok for thick calves?

I guess it depends how thick?!? They are adjustable using the laces.
