Dr. MartensJadon 8-Eye Leather Platform Boot for Men and Women

I wanted to write this review for people who may still have doubts, sizing issues, and in general just issues as to what is best for them. I was concerned when I bought this shoe because of sizing, as some said to size down, while others stayed their size or even went up a size. I have quite smaller and skinnier feet. I am a women's size 6(US) and I decided for these that i would buy my size.When I got the shoes I noticed that they were my size length wise but in the toe area I get space up and down so I can comfortably move them around. Concerning the fitting of the boot, they weren't tight but still stayed well fit on my foot. At first I thought that maybe its because they were too big for me by about half a size, but I've realized that I actually quite like the feel of the boots not being tight fitting, as it allows you to comfortably wear the shoe from the start without having issues breaking them in. It also allows you to be able to wear thicker socks without the shoe becoming too tight on your foot.So my advice for sizing is to go down ½ or 1 a size then what you normally wear if you have skinnier feet and you want boots that are more tight and fitted. But if you enjoy shoes that you could wear thicker socks with or have more room in for comfort, stick to your size. Also if you have wider feet it is probably best to stick with your size or maybe go down by ½ as the shoes could mold to your feet if they are tight.Regarding the shoe itself, these shoes are great! I did notice though that the shoes seems bigger and chunkier in person than I initially thought they would, but the more I have worn and looked at them, the more obsessed I have become with how they look. I've also gotten more used to them, so they don't look at big as when I first saw them.I definitely recommend these boots to anyone who wishes to buy them, as I am a first time buyer from doc martens, I can confirm they are very nicely made boots with good comfort and looks!

SHOES!!! lemme tell u abt these beauties…… they arrived right on time in the original doc martens box, w wrapping and the tags on and everything! beautiful! authentic! love! i nearly cried when i saw them, they were THAT pretty.. i was kinda skeptical of em being too small at first because they looked TINY in comparison to my stretched out v worn in year old 1460’s, but i think that must be the effect of the platform! the laces are more chunky and a lil shorter than the 1460’s as well, but that’s nothing to complain abt… all in all they’re So??? Gorgeous? and fit PERFECTLY? i am in LUV! <3to my gals purchasing & confused about the sizing: order your usual doc size, the M stands for medium fit, NOT mens sizes! i don’t know why it says all the stuff about it being a mens shoe since it’s unisex, i’d recommend the seller to change that because it is a bit deceiving :0haven’t taken a walk in the park with these babies yet, but oddly enough they seem even more comfortable than my stiff 1460’s were at first. also, the platform is no big deal, they’re still v comfortable & it’s not noticeable wearing them! not to mention, i love the extra 1 3/4 inch it gives me…. i am so Powerful………do urself a favor n cop a pair! so so so pretty & worth the price <3

I've been eyeing these for a while. I purchased the Dr. Marten Clarissa sandals a while back and got US Womens 10 which is my usual size. I'd ignored the comments to size down because I have wide feet. But they were too big and they rub and give me blisters because of that.For these I decided to follow the advice to size down and I got US womens size 9. My feet are just on the edge of not being wide which means normally shoes are narrow for me anyways. Sometimes they won't even fit if they're not W. But these boots fit perfectly. They're a little tight on the sides but not length wise. Length wise they're perfect - not too short not too long. width wise they'll take some time to break in but they're not painful, just a little numbing. The leather will wear and fit and then i know i'll have them for a long time.Something that I found to be odd was that the sole of the shoe on the inside is half leather and then half this brown hard material. I'll probably put a cloth insert in anyways just to make them last longer but I found it odd that the shoe had a seam going halfway through to switch. It kind of feels like there's wood down by the toes but it's softer like fabric.Regardless, I love these shoes. They look great and they're very sturdy. I'm excited to have them for a long time.

It will take time to break them in and I know that. But I love the sturdiness and look of the boot. Very happy

This is my favorite Dr Martens style so far, I love the side zipper which makes it easy to use the boots, I love the platform size, and have received many compliments.

Excelente producto, ajuste perfecto. Único problema es que llegó en otro color (granate) y no el solicitado (burgundy)... aun asi decido quedarmelas para evitar el gasto de tiempo, $ y energías....

Las botas son tal cual lo describen, originales, de piel y hermosas.Mi experiencia fue en compra para México, mi talla de zapatos es comúnmente 3.5 y soy de pie gordito, me preocupaba que me fueran a quedar justas, pero en absoluto.Las botas vienen anchas e incluso me quedan un poco grandes pero es perfecto para usar con una calceta ancha, si solo uso mi calceta ancha no me lastima, ni me saca ampolla; no son pesadas y son más brillosas de lo que se puede apreciar en la foto.El único problema que tuve fue que cuando pasó por aduana en México me cobraron un extra para podérmelas entregar, pero entiendo totalmente que no es culpa del vendedor, son los de aduana… solo para tener en consideración que podría hacerse otro gasto a parte por esta situación.Viene con su factura y en excelente estado, también me llegaron muchísimo antes de lo que dice la página.Recomiendo totalmente.

In echt noch viel schöner. Es ist das Jadon Modell in einem salbei/khaki grün. Perfekt für den Herbst. Freue mich sehr, den Schuh für den Preis bekommen zu haben! :)
