SAMSONITE Uplite - Spinner 55/20 Smart Top Hand Luggage, 55 cm, 41 liters, Grey

Absolutely love this case. I do a lot of short-haul flights and my previous cabin case had two wheels and had to be constantly pulled which caused me real shoulder problems. This case however is as light as a feather, moves effortlessly along with barely any effort on outside pavements as well as the airport's concourse and moving walkways (not so good on carpet though). It also has loads of great packing solutions: the little holders to keep the straps up and out of the way when packing are so simple but effective; the internal pockets and subdividers are so helpful for organising clothes/ shoes; the little side pocket is great for your phone and passport for easy access; brilliant to have the expander option and the lock is really secure.The only slight problem I have had after one use was that, when the case was pretty full, trying to close the main zip; it got caught several times on the small amount of extra material for the expander (which wasn't in use). I managed to free it, but it could cause the zip to get stuck permanently in the future potentially... I'm also hoping the handle will hold up well to long-term use, as it feels a little flimsy at the moment, but that lightness is what helps to keep the weight of the whole case as low as possible. Overall though, it is a game-changer, I love it.

I love this suitcase. Great design and look, quality build and good value for money. The little inside clips for the elastic straps is an excellent feature, as is the little side pocket on top for boarding cards, phones and passports etc. The black and gold is really striking yet classy, making it easy to spot on the baggage carousel whilst also earning envious stares skipping through the airport! The suitcase is the lightest i've ever come across. It can be a bit front-heavy when expanded but still remains upright. Good for short (2-3 day) trips. Wheels roll well on most urban terrains and the handle feels sturdy and not rickety. All in all, quality little suitcase!

Tough, smart and very lightweight: just ideal if you're only allowed 10 kg. Useful pockets, and inbuilt lock avoids the need for a separate padlock. To avoid pack-mule behaviour, I always check in my luggage, and these two-wheel soft-siders are less vulnerable to baggage handlers than those spinners whose wheels stick out, or hard-case types that split in half so often.

Due to its light weight, it is not as solid built as compared to other range of samsonite. But it has survived cobblestone streets over 3 countries and been thrown into budget airline hold luggage. I like the top pocket for toiletries and the side pockets. Its flexible nylon material allows me to squeeze more souvenirs in. Overall I would recommend this to people who would like a light weight cabin suitcase.

With airline cabin weight such a big deal, this back is super light, super strong and looks good too. Fits all the important airlines too.

Not all lightweight cases are sturdy but these are. They are also very stylish. Very pleased with purchase
