How does this remove hair?

I just used it. I had a piece of hair under my chin. I turned it on and it spins. I let it gradually spin under my chin lightly and it removed the hair in no time. It's the same as when you shave only this one works lightly, is smaller and touches your skin very smoothly.

Why is the company not responding to the question, "Is this a razor or an epilator?" They should be answering this question!

This is more like a razor-but it won't cut your skin :) An epilator pulls the hair out by the root. It takes longer for the hair to grow back, but epilation can be painful. This product is painfree and gets rid of the lighter, finer, and softer hair that an epilator might not be able to grab.

Does hair grow back like it was shaved

Wanity made me get this I had peach fuzzy on my checks. I am in my 60. My hair grew back thicker I am all whit hair from my 40 after using this not only my hair was more I had black hair growing. I have to shave every 3 days. I should have stayed with peach fuzz you could not see it BUT me. Sorry I started it Do the regular hair removal like Nair.

Does it work on coarse chin hairs?

Yes! I have both thick peach fuzz on my upper lip with a few coarse hairs at the corners and a LOT of very coarse white hairs on and under my chin. The coarse hairs have increased over these many years. This amazing little mini electric razor handles them all and somehow closer than a regular, good quality, disposable razor. Don't fall for the ignorant old wives tale about shaving having an affect on hair growth. That is patently ridiculous when you know how hair grows. This device is much simpler, quicker and cheaper than any other method of facial hair remover I have tried. I keep mine in the pocket of my recliner and can be done using it and brushing out the little bit of hair into a waste basket in less than 5 minutes while watching TV. The few people who have said it didn't work for them must have had a defective product, I think, or possibly tried to cut hair that was too long. I cant say for sure, but I don't think I'd try to shave much more than 1/4 inch or so, although I really don't know what the limit might be. What I can say is that this is NOT just another gimmick. Mine for sure works and works really well! And I, seriously, will never be without one again
