What a great shoe!
Perfect in every way really. Great for the office, great for walking, hiking, biking, and even some running. Great cushion. Vibram sole is practically bullet proof, barely shows any wear! Great job Merrell. I love this shoe. I have all 3 colors. Great for big guys. (I'm 6 foot, 280 pounds :) Great for everyone though too! Very sporting looking. This is my dream shoe, a shoe that is great for office casual with kaki's and jeans, but also great for walking or biking to work. My feet never get tired in these shoes, unlike all the other shoes I have! Great in the snow too. Warm and Waterproof. Has some treatment inside too which seems to prevent "foot smell" unlike so many other shoes I have. Is this the evolution of the shoe? Why, yes. It is. :) I have all three colors in this shoe I like it that much. Dark brown is my favorite, but all three are great, and I use them all at different times, depending on what I'm wearing. Only way to improve it might be to make a lighter version, for summer, and slightly more dressy, maybe by using the standard, less toothy Vibram sole. But don't discontinue this model, because I'd love both! Great Job Merrell!

I bought these to wear outside in the winter to collect the mail or shovel the walk when we get a couple of inches of snow at home. I was looking for a pair of shoes to replace my sneakers that I usually wear in the summer to knock around in. The Merrell's fit the bill nicely. They are quite warm when paired with a decent pair of wool socks and keep the water out provided you don't get in over the top of the shoe. I like the heavy duty lug sole and I'm satisfied with its ability to grip in the snow and ice. They are a tad heavier than a loafer, but nothing extreme. I think that their weight is a help rather than a hindrance. They fit comfortably and are easy on, easy off. I wear these 10-12 hours a day and my feet love them. If you're wearing them inside for long periods of time, you might find that your feet sweat thought since they are insulated. But, if you suffer from chronic cold feet, that might be a blessing. These shoes do a good job of keeping your feet warm even if you're stationary inside. Overall, highly recommended.

Awesome winter weather shoes
They are a little more expensive than what I usually pay for shoes, but they're also higher quality, so you get what you pay for. I decided that I didn't want to wear winter boots when I'd be sitting in class all day, but I also wanted warm shoes for walking to and from class, so I looked around online and went with these. They were a little tight and stiff right away, but after wearing them and breaking them in they fit really well. They are very warm and super tough. The tread on the bottom is equivalent to any winter boots I've seen, yet they're comfortable and even a little bit stylish. I also wear them when doing estimates on houses in the winter. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is going to be walking around outside in the winter and doesn't want to be burdened by a bulky pair of boots.

Good
Fit is good in size. I have a very high instep and the tongue was digging into my leg at first. Seems to be loosening a bit after 3-4 days wear. Good sole and warm. Like the waterproof aspect as I live on a ranch and use these mainly as a house shoe. Great when I go out on the porch for coffee and see something that needs to be attended to immediately, such as an animal in distress. I don't have to go put shoes on. Except for the tongue digging in at first I have no complaint. Wear Merrill boots the rest of the time. Great footwear!

very good, well made shoes
i've gotten addicted to pull-off water-proof shoes. i wear this kind of shoe every day and going in and out is simplified by having a shoe that i can get on/off easily. compound this with slopping around in slush and snow and sub-zero temps . . . . .my previous shoes didn't hold up as i needed, so i got these. so far, they have been great. they fit well (although watch out if your foot is really wide) and seem to be very durable (as you would expect from merrell). with wool socks, they're also very warm -- no cold toes.i also have a pair of boots, but i don't want to wear those if i don't have to -- too hard to put on/get off. these really fit the bill -- exactly what i need!

Awesome Shoes!!!
Merrell once again solidified its place in my mind as a the superior outdoor shoe and apparel company. The mocs exceed my expectations for fit and durability. I have used them in rain, sleet, and snow in all sorts of terrain. They have kept my feet warm and dry. They look great with jeans and casual pants and the soles have shown almost no sign of wear despite the heavy use I have put them through. Have owned a pair of Merrells for the past 10 years due to their quality construction and durability. I will continue to pay a little extra for shoes like these knowing I only have to replace them every 10 years or so.

Long Time Fan - First Shiver Moc
I've been a Merrell's shoe fan for over 15 years and this purchase - my first from their shiver moc line - has given me no reason to dampen my enthusiasm.Merrell's fit my feet as if they were custom made ( I wear a US 8.5 medium width). I'm on my feet and in my Merrell's an average of 10 hours a day. They are the only brand of shoes I have ever worn that feel right from the first moment I first put them on and continue to feel right until the time comes that it's time they have to go. I have never had a Merrell shoe cause me discomfort or fail in their construction. And although they are fully insulated, these mocs are lightweight - comparing favorably with their standard issue moc. There is no discernible difference in how they feel on my feet.I bought these shoes for winter wear in my hometown of Juneau, AK. If these mocs give me a reason to criticize their performance between now and March of 2016, I'll be back to update this review.
