72x80 Installed Over Sliding Glass Door
The media could not be loaded. I got this magnetic screen to go over my sliding glass door as extra protection to help keep out smaller bugs like fungus gnats fruit flies and mosquitoes!I couldn’t find a magnetic screen door that has Velcro stripping along the bottom, (for obvious reasons), but this screen does have an inch of space along the bottom where I added a couple long strips of Velcro. That way I could keep my sliding glass door open all night without worrying about bugs crawling underneath.Unfortunately, no matter which size you order, the magnetic opening will always be down the center. Perfect for a standard front door, but not for a sliding glass door. I would’ve preferred if they’d made the magnetic opening on the right side for this particular screen size, but my balcony doesn’t get much traffic. The instructions say to install the screen on the outside border of your door, but there is no wooden border on the outside of my sliding glass door for me to either adhere or pin up using the (included) box of tacks. So I installed mine on the inside, but instead of putting the Velcro strips along the border around the sliding glass door, I put them on the inner part of the border. Doing this made the screen blend in perfectly and now it’s practically invisible even though it’s over the glass door, but there was about 2 inches of extra screen in width and height. So I pinched the extra screen to the left and hid the e tea space behind my vertical blinds. (See pics)This screen has weights along the bottom of the screen to keep it from flying up with the wind, but since I added a strip of Velcro along the bottom, I never have to worry that..I also cut the width of the Velcro strips to 1cm. For this is just flipped the Velcro upside down, and placed a ruler over where it was marked, and used a box cutter along the strip.I’m not yet sure if this screen will keep or mosquitoes, fruit flowers and gnats, but since I installed this screen, I haven’t seen any moths, flys or silverfish inside. I do recommend getting some peppermint essential oil and spraying it on the screen door so bugs don’t want to land on the screen and end up coming in every time you walk through it.I will have to wait a little longer too see if the holes on the screen keeps out the smaller bugs. WILL UPDATE REVIEW LATER.Overall, I’m really happy with this screen! I wasn’t sure if it was going to look good, but it’s practically invisible, and since it’s over my sliding glass door that already has a sliding screen door, it added an extra layer of shade.

Good product. Works when installed properly.
The screen door installation took about 30min for our case. For those who are thinking of getting these, I would suggest to search YouTube reviews and instructional before installing. There are many re-packaged versions of this product but the installation steps are the same. Here's the steps we took to install the screen.Step 1: We lay out the screen on the door we are installing it on to specifically get 2 things - how much do we need to fold at the top of the screen so the bottom slightly hangs above the door sill (otherwise the screen would scrape on the floor and would not auto-close); and where on the door frame would the velcro edges are likely to sit (so we would do a complete wipe down of the three sides of the door frame to get the best stick of the included velcro pad strips).Step 2: We took the time to fold the top of the screen material (how to fold it? do an accordion fold making sure the velcro straps remain exposed and facing the original direction - this is the time to check YouTube for a visual if you need it). Use staple to hold the fold in place and we did a quick sewing at the top most edge just to be sure (although probably not needed).Step 3: We then place the provided velcro pad strips (cut to about 6 in lengths) on the screen's velcro edges. There are enough velcro pad strip to fill all 3 velcro edges of the screen. We cut them to short length so we can apply and remove the paper backing with better control on the door frame.Step 4: Once the screen is installed on the door, we use the included thumb tacks to secure the top velcro edge better. Then proceeded to adjust the sides of the screen edges to make sure the magnets auto-close.My only gripe are the number of tacks provided. But overall the screen works nicely and keeps the bugs out.

High quality product, Strong Value (utility&quality vs. low price) from an excellent Seller/Vendor
I rarely (close to never) write reviews. I felt a short one was appropriate here. Before buying this magnetic screen (a product I knew little about), I had to do some research (including reading many customer reviews). In fact, there were many options from which to choose. How to decide?Fortunately, among other reviews read, I stumbled upon an article that considered several different brands and highlighted what's important. From the article It was clear that magnetic screens using fiberglass are stronger (albeit pricier). Is there anything more annoying than a screen with holes or tears? So I knew that I wanted fiberglass, provided it was only a little more $. In fact, though, after seeing this one recommended (in the article as well as in its consumer reviews) it's price seemed to be the price of polyester (or whatever the cheaper kind is).Installation was fairly simple. Just as others suggested, using tacks (rather than velcro alone) will provide more reliable closure (and less likely for screen to move such that magnetic closure doesn't work well). Also suggested by others, don't mount the two sides with a tight fit (leave a little slack). This makes it easier for magnets to quickly/fully connect the sides. The magnets are strong/good quality and hold the screen together well, yet not too strong so as to make exit from screen difficult. It's easy to push through screen and exit. One challenge I found is that my exterior door is metal (like many people). So, annoyingly, the magnets try to stick to my metal (I covered the middle with something to avoid that but it's far from a perfect or pretty solution....I only intended temporary use anyway).Seller is excellent. I was missing something in the item. I contacted him and he quickly responded giving me the option of either returning the item or sending the missing parts directly to me (with a longer transit time).Today they arrived direct from seller (as promised) and with a special request I had made (but not reqd.) met. Excellent! Highly recommend item and seller!
