Moshi iVisor Screen Protector AG Anti-Glare/Matte for The New iPad / iPad 2 3 - Black (Newest Model)

This review is aimed specifically at people looking at this product to assist in handwriting notes on an ipad. I take notes all days and this screen protector is the only one I've tried that work well with a stylus. The screen is as sensitive as when there is no protector at all. It also adds a nice matte affect, which is more paper-like than the slick screen. I've used the Moshi with rubber-tipped styluses and an Adonit Jot and have been super happy with the results. With the Adonit, it's as close to writing on paper as I have ever gotten on a digital device. The only styluses that I've had to trash are the foam tipped Pogos (yes, I've tried a lot of styluses). The matte screen adds a shimmer to the screen, not really pixelation. After a day, I have never noticed it again, and I read kindle books on my ipad all the time. The anti-glare more than makes up for the shimmer in my mind. Love this product for handwriting and reading books. Makes the ipad more paper-like for both applications.

In 2014, I purchased a Kindle Fire HD7. It was one of the more expensive models at the time and I wanted a superior quality screen saver. I looked at several but eventually decided to try the Moshi iVisor. At the time, I thought it was a little pricey but I was so tired of all the other hard to install screen protectors so I was willing to give it a whirl. Best Screen Protector...EVER! Easy installation, durable, no bubbles, fits perfectly, looks great, does not impair my reading or front camera function, and easy to clean! I loved it so much, I ordered one for my iPad as and every device I ownedl! It's now the only brand I use for any of my devices. Love it and recommend it highly!

LASTED ME YEARS until it was removed, not immediately put back on and BENT! :( cant remove that crease. My only complaint was the cost of these things, but to this day I have yet to find a screen protector as nice as this. Downside? The transparency is not 100%. Causes a slightly blur/distortion which really turns an HD image into CRT quality. Im hoping after all these years thats been fixed and maybe the price has gone down. The memory of its cost is the reason I never replaced it.

Things I would like to have from a "invisible shield"-protection from fingerprints,-not noticable when applied-easy applicationpros--I could slap this puppy on in less than 3 mins.-Easy to remove and re-apply-could put a cover on the ipad without taking anything away from the experience.-NO bubbles were found with this productCons:-I could see on my ipad 3 that this item was on my ipad 3 and it took away a lot of the viewing experience.-The alignment was not horrible, but even whe it was, not set for an ipad 3-it was not what I was looking for as a product due to the screen issue:**Overview**It should be noted, that I need something for me that will not show up fingerprints, main issue I have is I am in a dusty inviroment and it does not allow me to be lax on the prints. I need something that will deter/not show the fingerprints. This product would have been still on my ipad, if it were not for the fingerprints, and the taking away from the screen resolution (it was clearly visable that this product was on my ipad) I would have given this a 5 star.

This screen protector is very easy to put on and take off - it is great for using sometimes when you want protection for your screen and then take off when you want that crisp clean display. It dulls the display quite a lot but it's ease of use makes it worth it. There are no smudges at all when using it. If the clarity was better I would say it would be perfect.

UPDATE - moshi just released the XT version of this which is a crystal clear version.....it is like night and day the difference. I give the xt version 15 stars....what follows is my original review of the antiglare version...As others have stated this is a cloudy matte finish which is NOT described in the description. The package said that it was the iPad 2 product..they just slapped a sticker on it that says that it is compatible with the new iPad. They did NOT redesign this for the new retina display as one is led to believe from the product description. I feel that I was truly ripped off and will just let my credit card people deal with the seller.It really is beyond me why a manufacturer would think that a matte finish product on a device known for its display is ok. I have a feeling that they will have a huge supply of returned products!

I needed a protector for my iPad and I found this one after reading reviews on Amazon.When my husband got his iPad 3, I immediately wanted to get him the same protector.It is easy to install--there really are no bubbles.It's easy to remove and clean or just wipe down.Plus it really does help protect the iPad and helps you be more accurate with your typing.Yes it's a bit more expensive than other brands, but it's reusable, great and long lasting!

I know what you're all thinking, "Buying an anti glare screen protector will help me see my display more clearly in the sun!" but the fact is that all anti glare screen protectors produce rainbow effects and it makes screens colors look less bright, thus reducing the clarity of screens. Matter of fact, I was in the same position as you. I thought tempered glass screen protectors would not help me see my phone in the sunlight. However, I recently purchased one for my phone and fell in love with it. I don't have to sacrifice my phone's clarity and colors just to see my phone in the sunlight anymore. Try a tempered glass screen protector instead.

I have several other sorts of screen protector, and after much struggling with bubbles and sticky fingers I have ended throwing them away. I was recommended this bubble free anti glare screen protector. It cost more than the others but was worth every penny when I put it on my iPad with no problems. It is every thing the manufacturer promised. No bubbles, easy to apply, no shiny finish, and no smears in use. Thanks

Save your money its useless , you spend all that money on an iPad with retina display then stick a cloud over it. Yes its simple to put on no bubbles but thats about it. I was recommended this in the Apple shop the guy must have been looking through one he couldn't see any further!

very easy to applyre-apply not tested yet ...anti-glare function works very good but in outdoor situations you really need to put your brightness to maximum level otherwise do see much on the screenoverall, a little too expensive for what the product is, "only" an anti-glare screen protector.nevertheless recommended if you are ready to spend just that little more.

Expensive, but works well. Not a single bubble or dust spot and no peeling, even after several months of use.
