Exactly what i needed
This power sequencer and conditioner is perfect for switching my AVR home theatre amps and eqs and it gives me the manual ability of keeping certain amps on/off or in or out of play...I have two of these and have my floor and heights power seperated

So close, yet a dangerous unit.
Unfortunately this unit suffers the same problem I've seen other reviewers state on other similar power products. The NEUTRAL and the LINE/HOT legs are swapped. This unit has 8 relays that turn on/off 8 outlets, but the problem is the neutral leg is what is being switched by the relays, not the hot leg.The other major problem is while there is a ground bus to the 8 switched outlets, the ground appears isolated to those outlets. It really needs to be grounded to the chassis. Also the two unstitched outlets are NOT connected to the primary ground bus, but rather to a screw that goes to the chassis. This means the two front outlets are not actually grounded. Why are these issues a problem, and why in my opinion does it make this unit unsafe? (at least in the USA)1. The big issue of the chassis not being grounded to the ground of the input plug is a safety risk, especially for the front unstitched outlets. If something plugged into the front outlets was to short out, a situation whereas a voltage potential could be present on the chassis. This could set up a shock hazard as voltage is always looking for the path of least resistance to ground. That could be you if you touch the unit!IF the chassis is grounded, then any short or lose connection inside the unit would simply short out to ground. This would cause the breaker to trip, but with a tripped breaker there is no more electricity to get shocked by.2. Having the Hot and Neutral legs turned around can also create dangerous situation. Switching the neutral instead of the hot leg always leaves energy to the outlet even when it is supposedly switched off.Additionally, most electrical panels have the neutral and ground bonded together. IF someone plugs something in to this device which requires ground to be part of the circuit other than the back-up safety for the neutral, you may create a situation where there is an electrical short.Other problematic things to note:1. There is no circuit breaker on the unit2. I am not crazy about these 'universal outlets' - as can be seen in the picture, even when something is plugged in, the outlet is still has exposure. (notice my multimeter probe)3. There is no power conditioning as is alluded to in the advertisement4. there is no power surge protection as alluded to in the advertisement - not even a simple thyristor as is found in many power strips.5. The voltage meter while nice, reads a few volts high, but within a 5% tolerance.6. The advertisement claims 20 amps capability, but they use only a 15A rated plug on the cord.7. I didn't catch the dimensions when I ordered, but it shows that it is bigger than 1 standard rack unit. A standard rack space is 1 3/4" (1.75) inches. My unit measures 1 7/8" (1.875). The holes drilled for mounting the unit also do not line up with standard rack spacing. If you are going to mount this in a rack, plan on using only the bottom set of holes and eating up 2 rack spaces.OK - I hope the problems I encountered with my unit show why I think a person should be careful about implementing this piece of equipment with their system. Use at your own risk. Notice there are no UL listings or other such listings with this device. Finally, I do have a couple of good things to mention. I actually think the quality of the construction is decent. The circuit boards are good as are the relays. The solder connections all flowed well and the connectors between circuit boards are good. Understand, while I think the construction is decent, it is still constructed wrong.I said this unit was so close - the things to fix it and make it a winner are SO EASY:IF they would address the safety issues which would be VERY easy to do;IF they would just use standard USA outlets;IF they added a simple 15A circuit breaker as on simple power strips;IF they added a simple Thyristor for surge protection as on simple power strips;IF they would make this the correct 1 space rack size;....I think the manufacturer could have a home-run of a product even if these changes and additions pushed the price to $100 or so per unit.

Nice Power Sequencer
The media could not be loaded. I have 2 power conditioners on my rack for most of my equipment. However, I recently set up a 7.1.4 system and needed a power conditioner/surge protector for the 5 speakers on the other side of the room. So I got this unit for that purpose. Since I have no rack there, I put it on my keyboard tray, which was not being used. Now I just press 1 button to power up the 5 speakers when I want to work in Dolby Atmos. It is actually a sequencer as well, as when the power goes on, each speaker is powered up separately over a 6 or 7 second time span. You can bypass the sequencer by pressing the bypass button, which turns all circuits on and off at the same time. It also has 2 front outlets which are very convenient. It is a well built unit and definitely worth the price. 2 things worth mentioning. The power cord is very thick, so it would be very difficult to do much of a bend, if you were in a tight space. And the LED screen is always on when the unit is plugged in. The power on/off is for the individual circuits only, not he entire unit.

Great product and great price
This is a nice power conditioner as it is and a great price as well. I use this with my band when playing at bars that weren't built and wired for music. Noisy power and interference tends to be a problem in some as an inconsistent power supply. This power conditioner filters at the noise and keeps a consistent flow of power so you don't get spikes coming to your equipment. Surge protectors and protect against the spikes but don't filter out the noise and interference coming from the power. The outlets appear to be European outlets but I'm using in the U.S. and it works fine. It turns power on and off in sequence which is really helpful for turning things on and shutting them off in a specific order, especially with band members who can't remember. Just connect everything with this conditioner in bypass mode, have the power switch on, and when you turn on the conditioner it will turn on the power supply for each device one at a time with a brief pause in between.

Sturdy construction
The metal housing and aluminum panels make this power conditioner very durable. I know it will last a long time.
