I highly recommend this cleanser for those with sensitive and/or reddened skin. Especially good during the winter. It won’t take off makeup but is good for the second step of a double cleanse. My only complaint is the packaging. Once you get down to maybe a quarter left, it becomes difficult to squeeze it out of the tube. I have to use two hands and then it goes all over the place. Best to try and squeeze it on to a washcloth to lessen the waste. This is my only beef.

The only cleanser I can use that does not irritate my skin, even when my eczema flares. It took awhile to adjust to a cleanser that doesn’t foam or needs water, but it does get my face clean. I do spritz my face with the Avene Thermal water before wiping the cleanser off.

It applies gently & easily with a very mild pleasant smell. It doesn’t irritate my skin at all, and it is much less irritating than using a product that uses water. I have seen how my face is less irritated, softer, & actually looks better. I will buy it again.

I love this cleanser! Gentle enough for my Rosacea, yet still cleans my face of make-up. They recommend wiping it off after application, but I wash it off with water. The only complaint I have is the tube. The opening of the tube has to be squeezed to release the lotion. I found it difficult to use. Almost out of cleanser in this tube so I will try to cut off the end of the tube so I can get the rest of the lotion. The product is expensive so I want to use all of it.

Highly recommend as a dupe for Avene's Tolerance Extreme Emulsion! Same ingredients save for one which is simply a thickening agent, CARBOMER, with no known irritant information at the present time. For the lower price and larger quantity, I will continue to purchase as it is the first moisturizer I haven't experienced irritation from. Not the most hydrating but works well for atopic dermatitis and/or sensitive skin, and doesn't cause acne. No scent either. Tip for new users: Hold product horizontally when squeezing from bottle to control amount released and reduce product waste.

This cleanser has no scent and is moisturizing, but— it gave me the worse cystic acne breakout after one week of use! This break out I am experiencing is so bad that I want to beg my dermatologist to give me Accutane again! It’s like my skin has turned into an oil slick even a week or more after I stopped using it, and the cysts it’s given me do NOT respond to treatment, even my holy grain hydrocolloid bandages can’t seem to make them shrink! Do NOT use this if you are acne prone at all, even if you are over 40 with dry skin like me! Do NOT use this

After trying many formulations over the years, I've finally found the one cleanser that is thorough yet gentle. It doesn't strip the skin but instead leaves it well hydrated, perfect for the upcoming cold months. This fragrance-free, preservative-free cleanser is a must-have if you have sensitive, reactive skin.

My holy grail cleanser. I ignore the no-rinse label and always make sure to clean any excess product from the tube before use. I also always use a makeup remover balm before cleansing—this will not remove makeup.For my dry and sensitive skin, this is a godsend. I thought I was doomed to never “like” a cleanser, and that I’d never find one that was actually soft or gentle. It’s never drying, always comfortable, and my skin loves it. This is game changing!

Finalmente, dopo svariate ricerche, ho trovato il detergente viso perfetto per la mia pelle sensibile. In estate utilizzo Toleriane di La Roche Posay o il detergente per pelli secche di Cerave. Ma quando la temperatura scende la mia pelle richiede un prodotto piu' idratante: questo della Avene e' perfetto.Ha una consistenza in gel ma quando lo si applica sulla pelle e' molto cremoso, senza essere appiccicoso. Una volta a contatto con l'acqua si trasforma in texture tipo velluto, uno spettacolo se avete la pelle che tira e che 'punge'. Dopo il riciacquo tampono il viso con un asciugamano morbido (non strofino). La pelle del viso e del collo rimane idratata,, non tira e risulta ben in equilibrio. Tolgo il mascara con un'acqua macellare (quella della bioderma non infastidire gli occhi). se massaggiate bene il prodotto con delicatezza togli bene anche il trucco - io uso solo un po' di fondotinta leggero e del fard in crema.La confezione e' senza conservanti in quanto ha un sistema di chiusura con valvola ermetica (credo che il prezzo piu' alto rispetto ai prodotti della concorrenza derivi anche dal costo del packaging). Non ha alcuna profumazione e gli ingredienti sono stati testati per ridurre al minimo il rischio di allergia e reazioni. E' un detergente che viene generalmente consigliato dai dermatologi per chi ha pelle affetta da rosacea. Prezzo non basso a quasi 18 euro per 200 ml, ma li vale tutti. Finalmente ho trovato il detergente perfetto per la mia pelle.

The best cleanser I've found. After trying dozens of different cleansers, including different kinds of cleansers and researching comedogenic ingredients and irritants and buying products with these issues in mind, this has been the only one that hasn't either broken me out massively, or irritated my skin. Such a relief to finally find something. I use it with a warm clean cloth instead of the cotton wool they recommend, but as long as I'm gentle this works just fine. It doesn't dehydrate my skin, but it cleans well. Love the hygienic sterile special opening. This is excellent value for money, it's a largish tube and lasts a while, considerably cheaper than some I've tried, more expensive than others, but definitely worth that money. The ingredients list is impressive - so many products claim to be non irritating and suitable for sensitive skin, this is the first that really, truly lives up to that claim.

After a nasty skin flare-up on my face, neck and chest (caused, perhaps, by the use of retinol), I decided to go right back to basics and, after a little research, decided on Avene, which is infused with spring water and has a good reputation for dealing with skin sensitivities. I use the Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion (gently massaging into the skin with my fingers) and remove it with a pad soaked in Avene Thermal Spring Water; I then spray my entire face, neck and chest with the Spring Water and, when that has soaked in, I use Avene Tolerance Extreme Creme Riche for my moisturising step. Over the past couple of weeks, having stopped my usual serums etc and having used only Avene products, my skin is now looking much better and feels calm, soothed and moisturised. Although I will, no doubt, gradually want to return to using some of the more active products I was using before the flare-up, I'm very happy now with my skin and intend to continue using the Avene cleansing, toning and moisturising steps as part of my regular skincare routine.5 Stars.

E' un prodotto che di solito acquisto in farmacia ma su Amazon l'ho trovato a prezzi migliori. Ottima per la pulizia del viso lascia la pelle ben idratata. Basta una piccola quantità di prodotto. Particolarmente apprezzabile la valvola di chiusura che si apre solo quando si preme il tubetto in modo che la polvere non possa entrare. Il prezzo è medio alto ma si parla di un prodotto di qualità. Arrivano nei tempi previsti.
