Perfect sizes and a cute accent to my new shelf and island!

I don’t like the fact they are smaller than they appear.

I do like these crates, especially that they are vented wood,but I got one that the lids is warped and doesn't sit flat, others fit well.The Seller wouldn't send a new lid.

This product is flimsy and poorly designed it’s lid was warped and it fell apart as soon as I opened the box!!

The product is not sturdy enough to hold potatoes and the onions. Cracks easily

I’m chief cook and bottlewasher at my house and so the business of storage, particularly of staples, has always been a challenge for me. I built a nice-sized pantry into what was the air conditioning housing (when I moved in) and moved the AC into the attic (where it belongs). The pantry is in my laundry room (narrow, but functional) and can get a little humid and it is very helpful when you belong to a membership store and are shopping for a family of two. As I do meal planning before shopping, I have nonetheless had a pretty bad time with root vegetables and tubers as I have to buy the minimal amount for my family (at a regular grocery store) and still manage to get yucky onions, shallots and potatoes with (pun alert) more eyes than invincibilities. I had been keeping these foods in the kitchen because they were handy and the pantry is in another side of the house. But after getting ready to make something onion-reliant and found mine unreliably icky, I decided to give these a shot.So far, much better.There are three boxes here labeled for Onions, Potatoes and Garlic, so although I usually buy my garlic pre-peeled at the Big Box, I bought a couple bulbs, a couple onions and some baby Yukons which take two weeks of Sunday dinners to get used. The boxes have airholes on the tops and as a result can be stored together, unlike my kitchen where I keep them on separate sides of the room like brothers being given time-outs.This week, the onion was much better, the shallot was in good shape and the garlic has continued to flourish in the next box over. The little potatoes did start to sprout some lower case eyes, but they will get me through week 2 and in general, that’s my potato use – a two week supply in a single bag. I would not have been able to store them so close together. I would not recommend buying an extraordinary and overly large amount, but these will do a better job of keeping your roots from resprouting.
