Used daily and I'd still recommend
Bottom line information: I've had this for 6 weeks, used daily, I had one problem with the gasket in-between the vessels that turned out to be a me problem, not a malfunction of the pot. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to keep their pot clean and not in a lazy mad rush to make coffee in the morning. If you would like to hear details:I purchased the 3 cup Moka Pot about six weeks ago and have used it nearly every day, sometimes two times a day. Finding the right amount a heat took some trial and error the first couple of days but once I found it I've been happy ever since. I have a gas stove with a small burner. Ideally you want to have a burner that does not have a wider circumference than the bottom of your pot.If you are in a mad rush every morning to make a pot of coffee or spoiled to the automatic brew of your conventional coffee maker this either may not be the process for you or make take some adjustment time. This is a process, I am often in a hurry on the mornings that I work so I grind coffee beans the night before. I do like to boil water in kettle first to get the water hot prior to putting in the bottom vessel as to not burn the coffee and it is done faster anyway. I not have a routine and know that my coffee is going to take about 10 min to brew once I get it on the stove but that is due to the amount of heat that I use. So I multi-task and it works fine but it is recommended that once it goes on the stove you stay close by to watch it, don't leave it completely unattended! This moka pot is a little small if I want more than one cup of coffee, so I've gotten in the habit of making an iced latte in the morning instead of a hot cup of coffee because it is summer in Texas and its too hot even in the mornings. However, I do plan on getting a bigger moka pot soon. I like strong coffee full of flavor and this moka pot does not disappoint! I've found that I am now spoiled to the flavor that this pot brings out. I've completely done away with my conventional maker which freed up a ton of space on my counter.I did a lot of research before purchasing this pot, I am very happy with my choice and plan on buying the same brand of the bigger pot. I also bought a manual coffee bean burr grinder that I love so I can control the size of my grind. For this pot I use a course grind that works great, something really fine would probably fall through the filter.Clean up is not a big deal to me. Once done I immediately unscrew the pieces and rinse out the top vessel, otherwise the sediment dries in there and makes it harder to clean. I also rinse the underside of the top vessel to clean off the remaining coffee grounds and ensure that there are no grounds under the gasket. It is possible to get the gasket out and clean it all thoroughly but I do not do that every time as I don't want to wear the gasket out or damage it by removing it often. I was lazy one morning and heard/felt a little crunch when I screwed the two pieces together and decided to make the coffee anyway and discovered that there was a coffee ground under the gasket which caused it to leak when it pressured up on the stove. That is the only time it's leaked, I just ensure that I cleaned it properly.By the time I drink my coffee it is cool enough to clean the bottom. Do not use soap! I dump the grounds out and rinse the filter under water, followed by rinsing the bottom vessel. I wipe all pieces down with a power towel as there will be a little coffee residue.I really do not have any complaints about this pot, it does take a little time and patience to get used to but now it is just my morning routine that is actually almost a therapeutic process. I love the flavor that I get. The coffee to me does not seem as hot as I would get out of a conventional pot so I just heat up my milk and creamer when I want it really hot, and use a frother to get it a little more creamy. So when I make it hot the frother helps in making more of a cappuccino depending on the amount of time I use the frother and how much air is added. I love iced lattes with this as the flavor goes a long way!I hope this helps someone out there.

LOVE THE STOVETOP ESPRESSO
Wow, this is amazing. I really think that stovetop coffee is better than any electric coffee makers. I have a electric espresso but I decided to try the stovetop espresso maker. Wow, what a difference in flavor. The flavor is better just like the stovetop coffee makers. You will not be disappointed. You will see that the flavor is better than any electric espresso machine. I have French press, electric espresso, electric coffee maker even old electric percolator and stovetop coffee makers. I swear that stovetop is the best if you are a coffee snob like me. You will not be disappointed. I bought the red espresso maker with the wooden handle. It is not wood. It is a plastic handle. That has nothing to do with the flavor of the espresso.

Moka Pot
This is a much cheaper way to get espresso every morning, instead of a Nespresso or a fancy espresso machine. I thought the coffee grounds would come up in the espresso but it didn't. I think it is a good alternative to all the very expensive espresso machines out there.

For darkest, strongest cup of coffee.
I use mine as a decorative item on my stove. I have a larger one, and even then I boil water in my electric kettle to add more water so the coffee isn't too strong.I'd call this tiny perculater an espresso stovetop device.

Me encanta!🥰
It does what it's supposed to do. ☕️ Coffee! It brews very quick when on high temperature, very sturdy, comfortable to the hand, so the handle doesn't get hot after brewing. Price was decent.

Basic, works, some problems
Works like all other moka pots, no real problem with basic function. I love the handle, hope it holds up. Every pot I have had in the last 20 years has been thrown due to handles that break or melt. This one sticks further out and stays cool to the touch. The pot itself has thinner walls than previous ones, which is why I assume it is cheaper. Less metal, costs less. With that, I find I have to twist the top and bottom more firmly together to maintain the pressure seal and prevent leakage.I had not noted when purchasing, the admonition against using on a gas stove, and did not understand why the instructions that came with the pot said to turn off the heat immediately when it began to boil. This simply stopped the process on my gas stove and water remained in the bottom. On an electric stove, the burner will remain hot for awhile and the process likely continues. So, I would have to keep the heat on as I always have--one needs to use a burner size that fits or is smaller than the base on a gas unit. The reason for not using on a gas stove may be related to the paint. You can see in the picture where the paint has changed color. I had been using the pot for several weeks before this happened. I suspect the issue came when I walked away for a few minutes and didn't get back immediately when it began to boil. This resulted in the bottom chamber being empty and dry, and likely became too hot without the water in it, and thus created too high a heat for the paint?? It's unfortunate. I have probably owned six or eight moka pots in 20 years, all but one were painted/enameled. This is the first time I have ever had this happen with the paint color. And it's not the first time I've left one unattended for a few minutes to boil after the bottom chamber ran dry. So just know this is an issue. I'm hoping it won't result in the paint now cracking or peeling.

Very good
Just made my first cup with this and it was brilliant! Only neded the hob on number 3 and it was ready in no time at all (i did use hot water to start though) 3 teaspoons of fresh ground was enough for three very strong shots of coffee. Its well enough made but lacks the perfect finishing of a much more expensive version. Finish aside it works and looks great.

Good product for the money
Good product and well made for the money. The coffee is good I purchased it for use in a caravan. I have tried it using the same beans as I use in my professional coffee machine. Be warned though when it has finished percolating don't lift it off the heat source and place it on a work top. I placed mine on a wooden chopping board and it imprinted the shape of its base with a nice burn mark. retains the heat well. Would buy again.
