A better way to change oil
I like these big oil catch pans. I had been using an old triangle shaped pan I got from my father that was probably 50 years old. It worked, but most oil pans would fill it to max capacity during oil changes. You would inevitably spill dirty oil moving it or transferring it to a container to dispose of it. This covers more surface area and has an integrated funnel. Should you drip the oil plug, you won't have to stick your hand in a pool of dirty oil to retrieve it. Cleaner and easier to use. Sounds like a plan.

Spilling Oil is a Real Drain
It’s always a gamble ordering things on Amazon and wondering how they’ll compare to what you already have. Turns out, I had no clue how big my current drain pan was. I thought 15.5 quarts would be gigantic, but it’s only slightly bigger which is good. I love that it has a spot for the filter to drain down since draining the filter is always the biggest mess for me. The spout isn’t as useful to me, but it would probably be amazing if you have an RV or heavy equipment. The offset pouring spout is a bit odd. I usually prop my old one up and let it drain down for recycling at the local parts store. I’m not quite sure what the best way will be to let this one drain down. At $35, it’s a reasonable price for all the features it has.

Open top
I like the open top of the drain pan and the pour spout is nice as well. The funnel has got a nice little innovation that allows a quart battle to rest on top securely. I don't like the ribs on the base of the funnel thay can create a gap where you would think it would let the transmission breath but in actuallity that is where the transmission fluid finds it's way out and can make a complete mess. Where the ribs don't interfere with the seal of the funnel, it will work fine and not make a mess. I may grind or sand the ribs at the base off to make it work better.

So, you need to drain your radiator...
This drain pan is nicely designed with a large area to try and direct your auto's fluids into. The filter drain area is a nice touch. It is just a drain pan and is not a drain pan and container all in one, which I think is better than a more messy all in one. It does have a drain spout to hand off the fluid to another carry container. It may hold a lot, but I have found that it is better to empty the pan before it is full as it can get messy . The sides of this pan, though, will help with any nasty tidal waves. The funnel is definitely tall enough, but can be shortened if that works better for a low vehicle.Regardless, changing oil or any other fluids from a vehicle is not high on my list of fun things to do, but the efficiency of this drain pan is welcome.

Well thought-out design
I have 3 classic cars, as well as 2 daily drivers, so I have to perform many oil changes every year. I already have an open drain pan, but this Scepter pan piqued my interest because it is deep enough to where 6 quarts isn't going to come close to filling it up, and I like the pour spout to empty the pan. It turns out I also really like the oil filter drain spot! IMO, this is a very well-designed product, and to include a cleverly designed funnel is a bonus!

great drain pan set
This drain pan and funnel set came exactly as described. Plastic is strong enough to support filling completely and the goose neck drain makes pouring the spent fluids into a container to dispose very easy. Only thing that I could think to add would be to have a cap for the end of the drain.

Not too bad
I really like the oil filter holder that lets the oil filter sit there and drain. One thing that bugs me slightly is that the pour spout will drip after pouring over so it leaves oil stains in places I don't want there to be. With the old type of oil pan, I just wipe the lip and no more oil drips. All in all this is very sturdy and the pros do outweigh the cons.
