Bought this rocker as a gift for my wife to enjoy on our veranda. The package arrived when they said it would. Assembly was simple enough (I watched the assembly video which made it really easy!) but just due to the size of the rocker, you might need another pair of hands to assist you.CONSTRUCTION - Material is solid plastic with the color throughout. Fasteners are stainless steel with big, toothy threads. I used a drill to drive the screws which made it go much faster and cranked the screws down nice and tight. Several of the connections feature mortised joints where one piece actually is routed into the mating piece. Making for very nice/solid joints. Surface is not glassy smooth... it has some texture to it, but is not unpleasant.FIT - My wife is 5'-2" and this rocker is a perfect fit for her. I am 6'-4" and can also enjoy it comfortably. It' a little low for me, like every other chair, but still feels good. If momma's not happy... :-)Will likely be adding another to the veranda soon! No reason this rocker wouldn't last for 30 years.

Had already decided to purchase two more, then this. Not sure if it was a defect or they are not as durable as advertised. It is at a vacation home so it is not used that often. Purchased March 2024.UPDATE: I submitted my negative review before contacting Polywood Customer Service. Polywood almost immediately notified I would be receiving a replacement part. We find the rocker comfortable and like the look. Thanks Polywood for your outstanding customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very easy to assemble. I watched the video and it was together in minutes. Helped to have an extra pair of hands. Very sturdy. Beautiful color. Love the 25 year warranty.

I use the chair outside to read in. It’s a bit hard so I bought a small pillow I place in the sway of my back. No rust, no mildew. Beautiful color.

I love this chair, and I am now a big fan of Polywood products! I would have given the comfort of it five stars, except that it is such a vertical slant that it makes my back feel a little uncomfortable. I wish it had a slightly larger angle backward to it, from the seat. It has been out in the rain and weather since Christmas, and has held up beautifully. I also ordered a brightly colored little side table with it, and that is very well-made also. They are a little pricier than other types of patio furniture, but definitely worth the cost because of how long they will be around.

Spent a month looking for the perfect outdoor rocking chair. Loved the aruba blue color but it is the most uncomfortable rocking chair I ever sat in. The chair barely rocks, the back is too straight and the seat too shallow. One screw was missing and one was stripped. I am returning it for a refund and will continue my quest.

These chairs and table are the best! The quality is outstanding, as good as other more expensive products. I have a pair of black chairs and table, as well as the teal set. Love them and highly recommend!
