Benchmade - Triage 915, Serrated Sheepsfoot, Coated Finish, Orange Handle

The title doesn't not clearly identify this knife. However if you scroll down you will see that this is indeed the Benchmade 915SBK-ORG Triage. I bought this knife with skepticism not knowing if I would get the SBK-ORG version. However prior to purchasing I contact the seller. The seller promptly verified that this knife was indeed the Benchmade 915SBK-ORG Triage. I received it very quickly and in good shape.The knife itself was larger than expected and the grip was very rough. However after using it I have found that the grip being that rough creates a very secure knife. Because the knife is so big it makes it a bit harder for someone with smaller hands to one-hand open the blade. With some practice the one hand opening can be achieved easily. The blade itself came sharp and looks very nice in the black coating. There are many versions of this knife so remember that the 915SBK-ORG means that it is the serrated black blade with sharp tip and orange shaft. There is another blade that comes in a dull tip. The picture is the correct knife. The seat-belt cutter is very sharp and cuts rope easily. I don't think I would use this as an every day carry knife because it is so bulky and heavy. However I will for sure use this for outdoor outings and long road trips (because of the window punch and seat-belt cutter.)Overall this is a great knife with very useful features. The quality is very good and the design is great for EMT or rescue workers. I chose the orange because it is easily found in a dark backpack or on the car floor. Once in a pocket you will only see the very tip of the orange shaft. Another great feature is that the belt/pocket clip can be reversed for left hand users. I've been looking at this knife for many months and finally decided to buy it. I have no regrets with this purchase.Finally this was one of the cheapest prices I have found on the internet. Also the seller promptly responded to my questions which gave me more faith in my order.

Great knife. Have to sharpen it more then I would like. Extremely functionality

I've gotten back into knife collecting after a number of years. This is the first Benchmade I've purchased and I am extremely happy with having this one.Both the blade and cutting hook came razor sharp. Open and close action are smooth and feel solid. No wiggle at all when the blade is open.I love G10 handles, hard to go back after you feel how well they grip. Size was perfect for my XL hands. It is decently large for a folder but not overly heavy or bulky.I have several more Benchmades in route to me currently based on how much I like this knife.

Excellent knife, the Benchmade quality is apparent. The orange handle body has a high quality “look and feel” with great grip. No wobbly-ness and a super sharp blade out of the box. Passed the shave test.

I rate this a four and not a five because the blade out of the box needed some sharpening. The rescue hook however was as sharp as I was expecting.Secondly, and more importantly, it is not as fast to get open as i was hoping. I think i might need to adjust the screw on it slightly. Otherwise this is a HIGH quality product, and the non slip grips are absolutely AMAZING and it is soo slim and easy to carry and always have on you.

Congratulations to benchmade for making such a great knife! I gave this to my husband as a birthday present and he absolutely loves it. It's light enough that he carries it clipped on his front pocket all day at work. He is a forester and has found many uses for it, including cutting tight zip ties with the hook cutter. Would definitely buy it again!

I usually buy bench made knifes and am very impressed with this one. Did not know it was a rescue knife, thought the hook was a gut hook, but works great for that also. I already skinned to bucks and seven hogs with it. Love it
