I really really wish these weren't so salty. I mean I love salty snacks but these are too much. Its too bad because they have such a good amount of protien for a low amount of calories. I love the flavor itself, its literally delisious but I wish they could find a way to cut back the sodium.

Unfortunately these have an expiration date in two months, which makes the teriyaki flavors taste very dry. Usually I get ones from local office with 2023 that are not dried out tasting. Disappointed.

OK, I'm a sucker for all forms of beef sticks, but I avoid them because of their high fat content. I originally found the beef and elk sticks at my local grocery store and liked them, so I decided to expand my horizons by buying this variety pack. I figured that I wouldn't like all of them, but I was wrong. They're all good flavors, lower in fat than the traditional sticks, and not too terribly horrible in terms of sodium.As an extra advantage, one stick seems to fill up my endless pit of a stomach. I purchased the variety pack, I enjoy the flavor of each one, even the habanero was not really spicy, I would definitely re-order again, doesn’t have too much fat in it and extremely tasty.

This variety pack tasted pretty good and was a good value for the quantity when compared to others. Ostrim is our go to in the jerky stick variety and would buy from this vendor again.

For what they are, these snack sticks are not that bad. What I don't understand is why some sticks have 300+ milligrams of sodium and others 600+. Are they using different salters during the week? One guy is cutting back the other guy lives in the woods with deer?The thing I do find most peculiar is the aftertaste. Even though it is not mentioned as an ingredient (they claim cane sugar), I could swear these taste like they were sweetened with stevia. I've used stevia enough in cooking to know what it tastes like, and cane sugar it does not. It wouldn't in fact surprise me if they do use stevia, I mean look at some of the carb counts on some of the sticks. Two grams? Cane sugar? Really.
