Sinocare Blood Glucose Control Solution

Very dissapointing product. It's my own fault for not reading the product description before purchasing but I expected the controls solution to have a known value, not a range of 4.2 to 6.55 for level 1 and 9.28 to 14 for level 2. What kind of instrument calibration is this! I have no confidence the readings obtained from my blood glucose monitoring system are correct using this product.

I expected each solution to be a known value, not a large range, so although my meter does indicate 4.7 for level 1 and 10.1 for level 2. Not knowing the exact value of the test solution makes the result pointless.

I thought I was buying two solutions to be able to check if my new Sinocare Blood Sugar monitor was working correctly. The boxes say level 1 and level 2 but give no indication of what answer you should expect when you use them. I got 5.4 for level 1 and 12.3 for level 2.Now that I have an answer I can check the monitor by running a test every week and I should get approximately the same answer as I did the first time. So they are useful but it would be better if they gave some indication of what the result should be with each level..

No idea at all what I am supposed to do with these or how to use them. Poor instructions! Need medical advice which I am waiting for

This company should make things clearer. Bought the control solutions, but the the 'range of control solution level printed on the test strip vial' (as found in instructions) is nowhere to be found. Have emailed requesting instructions, but they have failed to respond. without a clear identification of what each level of control solution should read, the whole calibration exercise becomes pointless, and a waste of customers money.

I bought these test solutions thinking they would allow me to check the accuracy of my Sinocare monitor. However, no specific glucose level is given for the solutions.Rather, the "Level 1" solution is said to be within a glucose concentration range 4.2 to 6.55 mmol/L and "Level 2" within the range 9.28mmol/L to 14mmol/L. So totally useless for calibration or checking accuracy.

I think like everybody else, this is rubbish. I can find no values on the Level 1 or Level 2 boxes, or inserts, or vials. The test strips say nothing. I did take two readings, Level 1 was 4.7 and Level 2 was 11.0. Quite frankly, this is all a waste of money, if you have no idea what it’s meant to be. I had issues buying replacement Strips too. I’m just going to toss it away, and go back to my reliable Roche Accucheck Nano. I’ve also purchased controls from a third party. Has to be better than this.

Arrived on time and well packaged. The expiration dates are 4 months apart, although the 2 solutions are packaged together. Level 1 expires 03/19 and Level 2 expires 08/19. I have used the solutions to check the Sinocare glucose monitor and it passed both controls. Please note once opened product is only good for 3 months, so the different expiration dates is really irrelevant.Would buy again if I had concerns about machine reading accuracy.
