Nope, this is resistant to water, so even when hair gets wet in the rain, the style didn't get affected too much. The downside is getting this to wash off. The best approach i found is to dry-wash (ie use soap on unwetted hair) - this usually works to remove the product quickly in 1 or 2 tries.

if you just lightly dab the stick on the the beard, it can definitely help smoothen issues. Ideal to avoid too much as it can quickly look greasy. Not recommended for grooming Sikh beards, i guess
