Q: Hi. Is this can fix soft spot on boat floor

Well......Not if you want to fix it right. The soft spot in a boat floor can...and usually means the the wood under the floor is rotted and possibly even the stringers. If you put new matted fiberglass and resin over a soft spot in a boat floor it will most likely crack and bust when you walk in it. I just replaced a complete boat floor and stringers. I did use this product along with fiberglass mat to install new stringers and over the top of the new plywood floor. So far so good but I have not put the boat back on the water yet to see how it all holds up. Product is fairly simple to use but be sure to use a respirator and gloves. Good luck!

Q: What is the cure time?

Well, it depends. It is temperature, humidity, and mixture dependent. Two hours generally is enough time to cure, but I've been giving it 4 hours minimum....often over night. Once mixed, its very easy to work and getting really good results. I have not yet figured out the best means to mix it consistently because the varying climatological conditions in my non-climate controlled garage require different ratios. I will say this though, I love this product compared to other resin products I've used.
