KlipdriftPremium Brandy, 75 cl

I can't speak for the taste of this brandy, but for that I've gone off the previous reviewers (Thank you)I have bought this as a going away present for somebody I know who is partial to Brandy and I wanted to get him something different and rarer than Brandies found in the local Supermarkets. (5 supermarkets, no dedicated off licences) Well the package arrived yesterday. A stout cardboard boc, which contained the Brandy bottle wrapped in bubble wrap and that wrapped in a layer of cardboard. Which was then taped up with brown masking tape. This was all covered by a tough plastic bag . So all in all most impressed by the packaging and for once you can see where the P&P has gone. This was then posted recorded delivery.I have to admit I am impressed by the golden string which covers the bottle (like a Spanish Rioja) which while imparts nothing to the taste, as a present adds just that something extra.Based simply on the packing , the presentation and the speed of which I received this order, I have given this Brandy 5 stars.UpdateI've treated myself to a bottle of the damned stuff to see what all the fuss is about. Well not being a brandy drinker (Single malt man) I can only say it is very very smooth, not as warming as whisky or Armagnac. But a very pleasant drink nontheless which leaves a creamy aftertaste in the mouth. Would I purchase another bottle, no. Its a very nice drink, but as I mention above I'm a single malt man and north of the border my loyalty (and my drinks cabinet) shall remain.

Bought this for my dad's 80th birthday.Did a load of research into South African Brandy and this had the best reviews on different platforms.Dad absolutely loves it, he hasn't offered me any to try, so must be good!Apparently it is very smooth and goes down too easily.Would highly recommend*****

Very Smooth brandy

gotta love klipies n coke, but you wouldn't dare spoil this wonderful concoction with anything other than a block of ice and a slice of orange. Happy with the supplier (You sure wrapped it good and tight, and there was no chance it could of broken during transit. cheers bud) it came quickly, it's not the cheapest, but it's ohh so good, worth it as a treat or gift.

This is a great brandy,bought on impulse with no regrets and repeat orders. It has the heat of a true brandy but a smooth edge that hints at cognac without losing the brandy feel.
