EDIT 20 OCT, 2016Leabags contacted me to inform me that they had addressed the quality issues I had described. They sent me a replacement bag for me to review. Leabags did not even ask me to edit my review, this is my unbiased opinion.I have been testing the new bag for a month. I do not have the first bag to compare to but the quality seems to be there, no faulty stitching and no signs of early wear and tear. I contacted Leabags again to enquire about the shoulder strap buckle. In my case it broke on both ends where the buckle was attached to the bag, as this was only held with leather. I cannot asses if this has been addressed without damaging the bag, but they have assured me that this has been reinforced with a nylon strip, same as was already the case with the shoulder strap. I am satisfied.The bag continues to have the great looks I am so keen on and I have to say that twice, a random person has approached me just to say how cool my vintage bag is and ask where I got it from.My only word of warning is, do not wear it with light colour clothes for the first weeks, as the shoulder strap will stain a white shirt on the shoulder or white trousers where it rubs.EDIT 16 MAY, 2016After half a year of use I am saddened to return this item and downrate from 5 to 2 stars. It is a beautiful bag and I have been complemented by strangers on how nice it looks. Sadly the built quality is not durable. I have had the main strap breaking from both sides, the closing buckle come off, the stitching of the inner closing Velcro come off, and the back zipper puller tag also come come off. I got a replacement after the main strap broke and after losing the closing buckle I decided to give this up. I do hope that Leabags improves the durability of this bag because it is nicely designed except for this point. I have also received excellent support from Amazon for the replacement and refund.ORIGINAL REVIEWI have been using the bag for a month and I am very happy with it. The leather quality is good, I love the worn feel to it. Should you scratch or stain the leather it will hardly be noticeable. I was concerned with the small width of the shoulder strap but since the bag is not very big, the weight cannot be excessive, so it works well.I did not like the warning sign that the leather treatment may stain your clothes initially. It has not happened but what is a customer to do "initially", not use it? Go to work with your old pyjamas that you do not mind getting stained?The only downside for me to the bag is that you cannot attach it to the handles of a trolley when travelling. I had a tailor do this for me by communicating together the 2 outer pockets, so that when the back zip is undone, I can pass the strip of leather through the handles of my trolley, making it a great travel companion.I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to other people.

Really like the look of the bag, but when it arrived , quality was poor, there was a hole that had been repaired , the repair glue wasn't even dry,The buckles and metal parts looked aged, this was ok but they where dirty; bits of grit in the groves, just lacked quality, for such as expensive bag I expected more.Update after returning: Leahbags sent me another case this was little cleaner and perfect condition. They contacted me and made sure I was happy with the new bag, very very good customer service !
