okay but not 100%
How do you title something when your not sure what to say ... hopefully this title is enough to say the aerial is okay, but not 100% and you understand what Im meaning (eek).Issues being the lack of channels (BBC) ... but some channels are better than no channels I guess. Bought 2, but 2nd is yet to be set-up ... the land aerial isnt far from us, no obstructions in the way. The 3 mile version of this aerial wasnt able to detect anything, hence the purchase of this version. I presumed because of the 15 mile signal locator it would have done the job singing and dancing ... sadly no.But I'm not going to return them, just hoping that a signal might be available when the weather is better (yes, really in this day and age ... I know, but yes, this does still happen). So stars out of 5 ... a 3/12 Id say was a fair award. Why remove 1 1/2 points ... well because of the lack of channels ... we pay our licence so we should get the same as elsewhere within the UK, but we dont, we most probably never will as the licence is paid for the purpose of the BBC (or at least used to ... ive no idea anymore) youd think we'd get that first and the rest would be a bonus, not the lack of BBC altogether. This aerial has given us 14 channels I think, last channel location run of it anyways.Hope this review can help you decide if this aerial might be of signal strength for your location.

Did not work
I live 8 miles from the transmitter yet this could only pick up 1 channel and the short Co ax cable limits the places you can place the aerial. To then be charged a return fee for a product that doesn't work added insult to injury.

Essential for Live Sports, I get all the channels including the HD one's.
Since moving into our new house we didn't bother getting an aerial fitted as we pretty much use the streaming services such as iPlayer, Netflix etc... While this has worked well for us so far, I soon realised there were some channels like ITV that you couldn't watch live on the app on the TV and the one's you could, such as iPlayer have a fairly large lag compared to terrestrial TV.For the most part this has been fine, but it when it came time to watch the Euro's, the only games I could watch were on iPlayer and because of the lag, if someone scored, I would always hear the celebrations from the neighbours around 20-30 seconds before I saw the goal because of the delay. After looking around I decided to try this out, I wasn't holding out much hope as I live 12 miles from the transmitter in a new housing development. I know it says the aerial works up to 15 miles, but that's with perfect line of sight and no obstacles which is unlikely unless you live in the countryside.Anyway, to my surprise, after plugging it in and searching for the channels, it worked amazingly well. I get all the channels including all the HD one's with only the minor blips every now and then which is easily solved by adjusting the position of the aerial. I can now watch all the channels in real time in excellent quality and I much prefer it to using the apps.FYI, there is another model of this aerial that is more than double the price and the only extra thing it has is a signal strength indicator on the aerial. I would honestly save your money and get this instead as you'll be able to judge the signal quality while it's plugged in to your TV and you can move it around until you get the best picture. It's not worth paying all that extra money for that one little feature.
