Wasp Inventory Control Standard Software with WWS550i Handheld Barcode Scanner and WPL305 Barcode Printer

I would rather have a tooth pulled with no pain medication rather than work with this system!!!! I have been in inventory for over 35 years and I have never had such a cluster as this program has given me.... It is going back as soon as I can pack it up. I give up, I have spent the last three days trying to get this software to work properly. After several hours of inputting inventory it did not save any of the quantities. Save yourself some real aggravation and look elsewhere!!!!!

Seven hours after we opened the box and we still cannot print correct size labels.... This is NOT a user friendly machine and there is zero tech support..UPDATE: after almost ten hours, we finally installed the system and then the scanner won't read bar codes.....HUGE waste of time and money. Boxed up and ready to be returned today!!!!

During my free trial, I requested help from wasp technical support. I was given a website address and told that i could find an article on that site to explain how to do what i was trying to do. I was trying to upload an excel file. There were a number of articles on the page, none of which seemed (by title) to directly address my issue. I called back to request clarification, but i was unable to reach tech support for the rest of the day. No worries, i was working with a sales person, and the website advertises free demos, so i contacted sales. I was offered an on-the-spot demo. I explained that i wanted to see how easy it was to import and export to and from excel. The salesman told me how easy it was, but he could not show me. He tried, but he couldn't make it happen. He said it was a glitch in his software. I saw him searching features, each of which seemed fine.....but he couldn't find what he was looking for. I explained the seemingly simple process i was hoping for. The salesman told me that my simple needs did not warrant wasp, as it's a very complex software (which apparently is too complex for him to accomplish my import/export demo). He never offered to re-demo from a glitch-free computer or have someone more familiar with the software perform the demo. I was left to assume it's actually a complex process and not-so-user-friendly software ... too difficult for someone familiar with the software to figure out on the fly. He offered no solution. Wait ... He did tell me that he would send written instructions. He didn't, though. And tech support never responded back to clarify their response of "check out an article from this page of articles" ,,, which apparently meant i was to read them all?Unimpressed with wasp's customer service before the sale, and finding several complaints regarding poor service after the sale, i bought Tracerplus and their recommended hardware. Hoping to receive it soon!

We purchased a disk version before they went to the web based version. Shortly before the web based version launched there was an update done. Now the program crashed often and runs awful. They are trying to force us to purchase the web based program because now they offer no support for the disk based program that we purchased. I do not recommend this program!!! Avoid it at all cost!! I would rate them at minus 10 stars if I could.
