I just received this and am pleased to have something other than a plastic-type board. I have been concerned about the amount of cutting board material that is entering the food I cut, as the cutting leaves clear indentations, indicating that it is likely digging into the material in trace amounts and contaminating the food.This cutting board is a very good size. I have included a picture with a pair of shears and a medium-sized serrated knife for a size comparison. The board has two different surfaces, meat & nonmeat. Not having to have two separate boards is a space saver and convenient. I haven't used it, but it looks very promising. The four stars are because I have not used the board; I will revise it when I have tested it out.
