Caseology Legion for Google Pixel 2 XL Case (2017) - Reinforced Protection - Warm Gray

Case fits well, though I agree with another review that the edges will collect a lot of lint. There's good protection all around and in the corners.Copper color is awesome! It's got a matte, almost rubbery finish. Expect to see smudges and fingerprint oils if you look at it at an angle.Unfortunately, the case is ultimately ruined by way too many sharp seams and edges that make it uncomfortable to hold the phone. Anywhere the tpu meets the plastic shell it's not even. Every edge is sharper than it should be. There's a particularly uneven edge sticking out right below the volume down button where you'd hold the phone that digs into the webbing at the base of your thumb.Overall I'll probably look for a new case. A good case should let you focus on the phone, but this one gets in the way too much.

This is a fingerprint magnet. I think that it provides excellent protection and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately it has 2 flaws: first the back is a fingerprint magnet and the corners dig into your hand if you cradle the phone in the palm of your hand which is uncomfortable. There are ridges on the back corners to raise the phone slightly from the surface when you put the phone down but makes it uncomfortable.

Great case, When I noticed that the second layer was made of some form of metal I was worried about scratches when I placed it on a table or countertop, but then I saw that Caseology had put rubber pegs on each corner to avoid that problem, thank goodness for people that see the bigger picture, am I right?Anyways I had purchased this case so I could use a magnet without it being visible of having to attach it to my phones body, and this case did the works.The only negative I have is the corners have that skid mark that rubber gets when it hits something hard, but thats just wear and tear with every use. Honestly, cased has saved my phone on three separate occasions.

Great case! The color looks even better in person, a very classy rose gold. I really don't have any problems with fingerprints on the rose gold, maybe it's this specific coloration that doesn't show. It feels sturdy without being overly bulky. I'm used to a larger case, but this one seems just as protective. The interlocking pieces locked in perfectly. It was more difficult to remove compared to my previous interlocking case on my previous phone, which is a good thing as long as you aren't a frequent case-swapper.

It's nearly impossible to write a review about a phone case that doesn't say what has likely been said thousands of times for this or dozens of similar products. With that in mind, I'll say simply - this is a very good case.In all honesty, I haven't typically used anything other than a TPU case to avoid scratching. I've been fortunate to have had good luck (and good reflexes) and so haven't had the need of a durable, rugged, protective phone case. The Pixel 2 XL is the largest phone I've ever owned, however, and with my unfamiliarity of handling a device with its dimensions, combined with the size of its screen, I decided a more fortifying cover was in order. I looked at several, read the reviews, and bought the Caseology Legion.The case is a perfect fit for the device, and the combined finished whole looks great - the hardware looks like it was made to wear this case. All of the functionality of the phone is preserved and fully operational - from the USB-C charging port (which incidentally is the absolute perfect size for the Google headphone adapter) to the mic, camera and fingerprint openings. The fingerprint sensor opening is done very well given the added thickness of this case; I find it completely comfortable to use. And speaking of comfort, the case does feel good in the hand. It has a touch of added grip that keeps it from feeling too slick, but doesn't make it tough to pull out of a pocket.The only imperfection I can find with this case is more of a mental hindrance than a physical issue. Being something of a tech geek (for which I can think of no good excuse) I like being able to observe, hold & review the actual hardware. That can't easily be accomplished with this case. While it can certainly be removed from the phone, it's not designed to just pop on and off without some effort. In truth, this will be a huge benefit to most people who don't want their phone to accidentally pop out of the case when it drops - absolutely no chance of that happening. But for me, I'll have to resign myself to enjoying the safety the case provides as the better value.So, yeah. I guess I can come up with some details to elaborate on my opinion. But still, just to keep it simple: this is a very good case.

It is not easy to find a good working wireless charging receiver. Once I found one, looking for a good compatible case is not easy. This case is good. The USB port opening is too narrow to fit a wireless charging receiver if you care about it.

The case offers a good balance of protection and light weight. It’s easy to snap on and snap off. The design is simple and professional looking, well worth the price I paid for. The cutouts are precise. I just got it two days ago, so can’t speak to the durability over time.

I really love this case. It feels very robust and protective, and yet comfortable in the hand. The edges around the fingerprint sensor are sloped so that it's easy to find without fumbling. The squeeze function still works, and overall it feels like a well thought out design. Definitely recommend.

....this one is a misfire! It looks good but the grey part is actually a completely separate piece of hard plastic which is just simply clipped onto the softer black PU case body. As a result, water and dirt goes behind the plastic piece and gets a bit gross (especially when it squelches out in your pocket). Returned it and swapped it for a Caseology case from the Vault series, which is a single piece of PU.

It's an ok case but it adds a lot of bulk to my phone. This a personal preference though.

Great case! I have dropped my phone in the parking lot more times that I want to count and 0 damage to the phone. I have a seperate screen protector too. Love the rose gold colour and other than some scratches to the case that are due to use is had held up amazing. Would 100% but another when the time comes

I haven't had the case in use for longer than 24 hours, no drops, no keys in the pocket with the case, and the paint has scuffed off of the plastic shell. Very unfortunate as I've ordered other caseology products without a hitch.
