I eat a lot of nuts and dried fruit. I try to buy organic, but it's become harder to find some nuts in organic. (Has anyone seen an organic peanut, pecan, Brazil nut, etc. since the pandemic started???) I'm grateful that I'm able to find organic almonds!I like that these are unsalted as I don't need extra salt. They're a bit too expensive, but comparable to TJ's prices, and with this year's out-of-control inflation and the lack of organic nut options, I'm taking what I can find.I buy 365 organic unroasted and roasted almonds and love them both. They taste fresh, and I appreciate the resealable packaging, even though it's plastic which bothers my conscience to no end. In spite of the terrible costs, I think I would pay more for organic nuts if there was a non-plastic container option.Regarding the plastic conundrum, common, can't we do better? I know nuts begin to mold quickly, so coming up with non-plastic packaging may be a challenge, but we should have the technology for this by now! What if nuts were kept refrigerated during shipping, then sold from refrigerators in some kind of paper, or from bulk bins? Let's do better.

I ask for roasted and unsalted. Salt and I don't get along.1/4c is one serving. Remember that. 1/4CAlmonds have more protein than they have net carbs.This brand has never been stale for me. *I* find that I can be happy with 1 serving most of the time. I've had to learn that.They are whole roasted almonds.
