KidKraft Sweet Savannah Dollhouse with 14 Accessories Included

After reviewing and comparing the different dollhouses available, I decided on this (KidKraft Sweet Savannah Dollhouse) as a Christmas gift for my 5 yr old daughter. I'm really glad that I did. It's really a beautiful piece and looks well made. The accessories included were a big plus and completed the look. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this dollhouse.I do want to mention a few specifics so as you get a better idea of what to expect if/when you purchase and build your dollhouse. The whole dollhouse came in one big, nicely packed box. All items were individually numbered, neatly arranged and covered in packing "paper". I took everything out and looked over the inventory to ensure I had all the pieces. Once I accounted for all the pieces, I started to build exactly as the directions stated. Keep in mind though, the instructions were in picture form and not written instructions. But they were pretty easy to follow. However, I did encounter two obstacles. 1) The awning portion on the left side did not fully align with the pre-drilled holes, so the awning is not flushed against the railing as it should be. I've included a picture so you can see what I mean. 2) The triangle shaped roof awning was a bit of a challenge to get in place. It is made of a hard plastic and the instructions weren't very clean on how to bend it and I was fearful it would break in half. And because it didn't bend as easily, it was difficult for me to align the roof with the awning. Just be careful to bend it carefully, not too forceful. Also I was the only one who built the house, so it might be easier to have another set of hands when doing this step.It took me about 3 hours to fully assemble the dollhouse, which includes the issues that I ran into above. The only tool you'll require is a Phillips screwdriver. It comes with all the necessary screws and bolts that you need. My daughter got it this morning and she said "I love my dollhouse". That says it all :)

This doll house is extremely sturdy! All of the walls are nearly 1/4" thick wood (or pseudo-wood composite) product. Some other reviews stated that the assembly instructions were very vague and difficult to read and that the product was difficult to assemble. I am happy to report that it's not! :) The assembly instructions were extremely simple, clear, and well-written (and I'm by no means a mechanic or carpenter - I normally have major issues figuring out how to get battery compartments open on toys - don't judge...some of those compartments are a real bear! (; ). All of the parts are well-labeled and easily identifiable so there's zero confusion. All of the parts lined up perfectly (a few other reviews said they didn't, so I'm thinking the ones that didn't weren't assembled correctly).The furniture that came with the dollhouse is also very sturdy and well-crafted. The lamp (which lights up) has a timer on it which helps with battery life. The house itself stands nearly four feet tall - it's really big! Compared to the flimsy plastic and cardboard Barbie doll houses for close to the same price (been there, done that, lasted a month before it was destroyed by light play!), this dollhouse is a hundred times sturdier and just plain superior. All in all, this is an heirloom quality product. I can easily see this beautiful, sturdy dollhouse lasting for a few generations at least!

So this took my husband and son three hours to put together. Assembly is no joke. Some screw holes didn’t line up but they used the power driver and made it work. Today we gave this to my four year old for her birthday and she hasn’t stopped playing with it. She has yet to even eat birthday cake or ice cream. She has taken out all the furniture and reorganized everything. She has all her Barbies in there now. And she loves that the lamp lights up. This dollhouse is totally worth the money given the quality, the accessories, and the size. I’m confident she’ll play with this for hours each day. ❤️

We bought this for our daughter for the solstice celebration... it was a bit of a beast to assemble but with patience it goes together without too much hassle. She loves it and it is very large. The standing lamp it comes with has no 'off' switch which confused me... turns out it's on a timer and shuts off automatically. The screws to assemble are colored but I couldn't figure out which applied to which area... so I just did whatever (not that a child would care!)My minor complaint is that the adhesive designs for the panels has started to peel off in some areas already and it's only been a few months. But, not much of a drawback for the price... and my child doesn't notice that kind of thing... what child would?

I could not be more happy with this dollhouse. My 3 year old is obsessed with it! It is well made, durable and so big! I had one issue with a broken porch roof piece , which the company offered to replace, (thank you) but I used wood glue and it worked well so I didn’t bother! It took my husband and I about 3 hours to put together and it was worth every second!

This doll house is currently being enjoyed by a just-turned-two year old who loves arranging and rearranging the furniture and organizing the lives of her doll family. I am sure she will play with it for many years.

Je viens d'acheter cette maison pour ma fille de 5 ans. Je l'ai monter seule et je suis fière de moi! je n'ai pas eu de difficultés particulière, tout est bien expliqué ! le bois a l'air de bonne qualité et tout est en bon état. Je suis pour l'instant ravie de mon achat et ma fille l'adore! C'est un peu cher mais c'est une grande maison donc....je pense que cela vaut son prix! je recommande

Wir haben das Puppenhaus für unsere 3 jährige Tochter gekauft - auf den ersten Blick wunderschön, große Möbel und liebevolle Gestaltung. Aber schon beim Aufbau haben wir einige Mängel festgestellt - zb. Verletzungsgefahr durch scharfe Kanten, Schrauben greifen teilweise nicht richtig, Trennwand in der unteren Etage locker - fällt um, Folie blättert zum Teil schon ab - sollte erstmal reichen.

La casa è molto carina, buona qualità e ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Facile montaggio, 1 ora circa. È arrivata intatta e in pochi giorni. Mia figlia è contentissima! Ideale per le barbie. Consigliatissima!
