This solar light saved our lives
A week ago, my partner and I took a backcountry trip to Yellowstone. We were both really excited and since the camp site was only 4 miles out we headed later than we usually do to the campsite.Upon arriving at the campsite it was 9:10pm. We were exhausted because despite dousing ourselves with deet, we fought mosquitos swarming us and eating my face alive throughout the entire hike. I ended up running part of the way and tripped on a rock and twisted my ankle. Didn’t think much of it as we continued hiking. My partner started to set up the tent. He asked me where the tent poles were. I told him in the bag, of course. We emptied both of our backpacks. I had this horrid feeling of dread creep on me. There’s no way we could sleep outside without our tent poles. We’d be eaten alive by mosquitos and we were in bear territory. I proceeded to have a mental breakdown for the next 5 minutes and my partner pulled me together. We ended up deciding to head back to our car. It was 9:30 at this time and the sun had completely set. There was so much adrenaline and fear pumping in myself. We brought one headlamp set and my partner put it on. A few minutes hiking back his headlamp dimmed out and started to quickly die. We had both of our phones but we know a phone light is a last resort when it comes to battery life. That’s when we remembered we clipped on this solar power bank onto my backpack. I turned it on and I swear this thing was so bright it would frighten any bear or wolf that was anywhere near us. I felt so much more comfortable as we hiked the rest of the 4 miles and made it back around 11pm.Morale of the story: always double check your pack and always bright a reliable light source!

Good for outdoor activities
With summer here, my family wanted to make the most out of the break and spend more time outdoors before school resumed. We decided to try camping in the wilderness and fully embrace nature. To ensure safety during hikes, we purchased a solar-charged power bank to keep our electronics powered on at all times. We didn't want to risk getting lost with low-battery phones on some longer hikes, so having a backup plan was essential. This power bank is exceptionally lightweight and portable, fitting easily in our pockets or backpacks for convenient use. It features two USB outputs, allowing us to charge two devices simultaneously. We can recharge it using solar power or indoors by plugging it in. The front of the power bank has an LED battery indicator, keeping us informed of the remaining power to charge our devices before they need recharging. Additionally, it includes a flashlight with three modes, including steady light and strobe mode, which can be used as an emergency signal. The only drawback is the short charging cord that came with the power bank, making charging a bit cumbersome and sometimes causing it to feel hot to the touch after prolonged charging.

Important to have!
I have bought 4 of these making sure my family members have these. Some live in the gulf and had no way to charge their phones when the last hurricane moved in. Now they do!! These are super important. I keep mine on the window sill. It's always ready in case of emergency. Also love the flashlights (2) and compass. Good buy!!

5 star all around...
Honestly, so happy I bought these. One for my daughter at college who's got a knack for photography as a hobbie. Being up in Tahoe, CA/NV she's got plenty to indulge in. This helps her phone, portable speaker, her camera and even her computer stays charged. Hangs on the outside of her camera pack - if camera battery is low, she can walk/hike while the camera is charging. Bought another for my husband who's an avid hunter. He has an awesome camera on his phone. This helps keep the charge up when there's down time. With how heavy the packs can get when hiking in, this battery doesn't make or break the load. Has emergency lights that has the ability to flash in different modes on the bottom. The compass stinks but I didn't get it for that. The protection door (cover over functions) can be a bit difficult to open... but I think cause they were new, thats why. These were left out in the rain (I forgot about them) and I remembered the third day. Still worked like a charm. I've had no issues. It's about the size of an iphone X.
