With the drip lid that you see in the picture it is 12-1/2"tall My wife loves it because it's only 2-1/2" square, and she can lift the bottle easily.

Q: Does any oil drip from the pouring spout and down the bottle? i am looking to buy this because i hate the oily bottles of my olive and canola oil.

No, oil just leaks out of the bottom of the bottle. It's a good looking bottle, and very handy, but unfortunately it leaks from the bottom. It always has an oil ring around the bottom. (I used it for olive oil too)

It looks like it is. Love this bottle. No drips.
