This lock has been giving me peace of mind since I've been traveling. It works well and it's easy to use. It's very durable.

Pretty easy to install once you get the hang of it…I have a door knob and a bolt…the bolt WILL NOT lock if you use on the bolt…but it works on the door knob just fine. I tested it with the door locked and unlocked and it stays in place. I would practice unscrewing it so you will be able to quickly in an emergency.I have had issues with maintenance entering my apartment w barely any notice and at times that specifically asked them not to do repairs. This adds another layer of security and peace of mind for me as a single woman. Recommend!

It doesn’t fit on all doors. But on the doors it does work on it is easy to use.

This door lock comes with its own velvet drawstring pouch. It is fairly easy to use and comes with clear instructions on the back of the box. I suggest cutting the instructions out of the box and tucking them into the bag so that you remember how it works, especially if you travel infrequently.This lock will keep the door from opening even if the handle is released. One of the nice features of this lock is the independently adjustable screw that goes on the door side. This enables you to use this with a variety of door frames. It only works on doors that open inwards. It lays flat for storage and is lightweight so it doesn't add a lot of bulk or weight to your luggage.

I have personally experienced hotel employees entering my room when they thought that we had checked out completely. Sadly, I was dressing after packing everything back up, so it definitely scared me!!I'll start with the idea of the product- Great idea! Gives mental reassurance of a safer travel experience!!The different flexible portions move quite easily also.Metal pieces that secure the door in place are covered with a moderately thick silicone covering to prevent damage to the door/frame.Not very heavy so it will not add a lot of weight to your bag!Tricky to get set when you first try it out but works pretty great!!!I don't believe that this will work for all types of doors, and it must be on a specific side of the door (swing direction).Happy Safe Travels!!
