AG Russell doesn't list it as a full tang, so ... I'd say it is not full tang. But you can query AG Russell if you like -- he'll have the answers. This seems a good price for the knife, however. Generally speaking, if a knife's description does not say "full tang," it is not a full tang knife. Many SOG knives are only half tangs, which -- really -- is tough enough for most uses. This is a darn good knife at a terrific price. It's not listed as a full tang knife on the SOG site. Other knives are.

Q: Where is this knife manufactured?

The diff between the S Pup Elite and S Pup is the Elite has spines on the ridge, comes serrated or straight edged, black powered or statin, 9.5" and made in Taiwan. The S Pup has many models #s and depending which model, may be 9" or 9.5". Most of the 9" model are made in China and the 9.5" are made in Taiwan. You can choose between the molley sheath or stryex sheath with the diff models. This is just what I have found out by researching the 2 models. I think most of this is correct. Again some of this info may need to be adjusted.

Q: Can i dive in the ocean with this knife on a regular basis?

i thought i could after reading all the reviews saying it was tini coated, but truth is i took it for 4 dives in Key largo on may and it got rust everywhere. even the edge chipped off a bit. And i know i fully rinsed it with hot water from the boat cause i did. really disapointed. wanted to ship it back but i don leave in USA so tough luck. dont go diving! get spyderco altantic knife, those DONT rust.

Almost all of the SOG fixed blade knives are made in Taiwan. Folding knives are made in the USA. The fixed blade and folding high end models are made in Japan. Multitools are made in USA. There are some exceptions to this, but not many.My Seal Pup Elite is made in Taiwan, my Flash II is made in USA. All SOG Fusion series products are made in China. Hope this helps you out.
