Don't Expect These To Be Adjustable
I ordered these sandals because of the velcro closure. I have a problem with fluid retention and my feet are often swollen. The velcro would normally allow me to adjust for proper fit. However the velcro strip in these sandals doesn't extend all the way across so they can only be adjusted within a very narrow range, which in my case was not enough to accommodate my swollen feet. Fortunately my partner liked them and was able to wear them. Otherwise they would have been returned. Saving a few pennies on the velcro in a $60 shoe was a bad decision IMO.

Comfortable and Nice Value...
Comfortable and Nice Value... I have had a few pairs of Propet shoes and boots. In general I like the fit and feel. However, I have wider feet, and the sizing, while fairly consistent in my experience, can be a bit misleading. I have typically picked the 3E widths in Propets, but I feel that they fit me somewhere between a D and 2E. Not quite as narrow as a "regular" Medium width shoe, but not quite as wide as I would expect. Having said that, I opted for the 5E in this sandal, which seems to be just slightly wider than I would like (a bit wider than a typical Extra Wide). The Velcro closures on this sandal work to adequately compensate.

Happy Husband
My husband had developed sore feet from wearing the Dr. Scholls sandals so I had to hunt for quite a while until I happened upon the Propet shoes. The sole of the sandal is much thicker without being clunky and provides him with great support. Our house is completely tiled so we both need to have indoor shoes that provide enough shock absorption. The adjustable straps are working very nicely and he has plenty of strap left for adjustments if needed. The footbed is on the cushy side which also helps. Overall, he's very happy with these sandals.

Physical Therapist Review: Excellent Wide Toe box and very durable sandal
Size 13 x-wideToe Box/ForefootI am a physical therapist and bought a size 13 x-wide as a gift for a male, former rock climber, with really wide feet) needing a wide toebox sandal. It ended up fitting perfectly without needing to use any major adjustment of velcro straps on the top of he foot. Attached photos reveals true measurements of toebox.I wasn’t sure if the color was ugly in person. When it arrived it was fine.SoleWhen you test shoe/sandal arches and soles you should not be able to bend the shoe/sandal in half (like a hotdog bun). The sole was very durable when I tested it, and had strong thickness to it. I wish the arch had more support but the person I gave it to said he thought it was fine.Overall Summary:This is a well built men’s sandal (minus the minimal arch support) that would accommodate someone with a wide forefoot needing a wide toebox. Very few sandals on the market are this durable and forgiving on the foot.

Good build but a little small
Have wide feet and high in-step. Ordered the widest version 1/2 size larger and it feels great. But my heel barely fits on end of the sandal. Should have ordered a full size over my regular. Velcro straps adjust nicely and it was simple to get a good fit. Footbed is a nice material, soles seem a little soft and spongy...which is great of comfort but I'll see how durable they are. Seems like a nice inside/ light duty sandal-slipper....but obviously not made for any real heavy hiking/walking. But for a wide sandal that is adjustable and available in wide widths...It's a good value. Would buy again.

A little clunky but a lot of comfort!
I am really happy with these sandals. Their comfort is related in part to their somewhat clunky appearance. The upper side has a nice wide and soft liner that protects your foot from getting rubbed in the wrong places. To cover up that liner, the leather straps are wider and, in my opinion, clunkier looking than sandals with narrower straps.On each side, the liner essentially runs in one continuous piece from front to back. This helps your foot slide in smoothly because you aren't going to bump into a second strap. Even though they slip on very easily, they stay put surprisingly well for a slide. Great around the house or on quick errands and short strolls. Good support, and I love the fact that they sell these in wide widths.

Worth the price. Good quality, but straps curl up.
Durable, well-made sandals. Still look new after months of wear. Adjustable straps make it easy to "refit" as they stretch out with wear. Good buy.UPDATE: Have worn sandals for 5 months now and must remove one star. Width is perfect, but adjustable straps are very long. Unlike photo, they hang down to the sole and are now curling up. Will need to cut 1 inch off all four straps to make them lay down.

Best sandals ever!
I rarely write product reviews, however I am making an exception in this case. The Propet Vero Slide Sandal is extremely comfortable. The foot bed adapts well to my old, and somewhat flat feet, and the adjustable straps accommodate any variations in width due to swelling. All in all, the best sandals I have ever owned!PS: The leather smells great!
