... boot with a slightly wider fit and these are perfect. I did have to go up 1
Have been looking for a walking boot with a slightly wider fit and these are perfect. I did have to go up 1.5 sizes though. My normal shoe size is a UK 5 and I would always go up a size in walking boots, but having tried these in a UK 6, I found them still a little tight across the widest part of my feet. I changed to a 6.5 and they are now really comfy. I was worried they might be too long and slip at the heel, but have had no problems. Did a 3 mile 'straight out of the box' walk and no hotspots and the following day, did a 6 mile walk and still no problems. They are nicely cushioned. Very happy. Not used in wet weather yet, so can't comment on waterproofing, but I'm sure they'll be fine.

Very Well Made
At first I thought they might be a bit too snug, I ordered up 1/2 size. (Normal size 5) With this increase the length is exactly right. The toe box width & space is very good. Just ever so snug across the instep. I wore them for a number of hours, they hold one's foot snugly but comfortably, and a very good sole rocking foundation, no slipping . You won't have room for heavy layers of socks! Just needed to get used to a new kind of hiking boot for me. Impeccably made, I recommend if you have normal to narrower feet, and recommend especially for quality. Keeping!

Worth consideration
Loved the boots, however they were a little on the small side and I returned them. The seller provided excellent service, unfortunately they had sold out of the next size up. The shoes were returned to the supplier.

Size up!
As the other reviewer advised - you need to size up on these boots. I usually get a 5 or 5.5 in Keen shoes & boots, and bought these in a 5.5 and a 6. Both were too small, but I felt a size bigger might be too long and cause tripping. Had to return. However if the fit is right, these are great boots - supportive but not too stiff, flexible and strong. Would be versatile, light enough to be used for leisure wear and sturdy enough for demanding walks on wet and dry, soft and rocky surfaces. Would be good if Keen could post a warning about the sizing, as they do on some of their footwear in response to feedback, to save time and money for retailers where boots need to be returned.

Come up a teeny bit small! So wish I’d got a 6 instead of 5.5 ☹️
This is my second pair of Keen boots. The last ones I was wishing I’d got a half size smaller & this time I wish I’d got a half size bigger, lol! My normal foot size is a 5 so I usually take a 5.5 for trainers & walking boots/shoes, which I ordered them in, but I can just feel my big toe touching the front of these boots inside so I wish I’d got a 6 but can’t now as they’ve none left. Hopefully they’ll give a teeny bit as otherwise they fit perfectly, just no thick socks with these tho!
