Depend Silhouette Incontinence Underwear for Women, Maximum Absorbency, S/M, 12 Count

Silhouettes is the best product on the market for those with incontinence problems. I have tried many products for my 90 year old mother, from pads to diapers. This is the only product that we call "underwear" instead of diapers. The stigma of calling it diapers is gone. After this change in terminology there were no problems of getting her to wear a product such as this. They look like underwear instead of bulky diapers. Mom readily slips it on just like her underwear and it is very easy for her to put on herself. It is very absorbent and has prevented many mishaps. Silhouettes are light weight, well designed, attractive ( they are pink) , and clings to the body with very little bulkiness so my mom can wear any pants she chooses and still looks slim. It truly is an excellent product. I have told her doctor, my sister-in-law, and many others about Silhouettes

I am buying these for my mother, also, and it is so easy to have them shipped. The delivery time is quick and I can get them to my Mom's place right away. My Dad used to buy her the cheaper brand, and whatever was on sale. She often got bulky, bunchie, lint-ridden products, that showed through her slacks. Not a good feeling. She really likes these, as they are comfortable, not bulky, and feel more like regular underpants. I find the price on Amazon to be quite good. I think it is wonderful that this type of product has become so much improved. If we are lucky, we are all going to get old, and may need them. OR if some of us has a medical issue, if is absolutely wonderful to have this sort of product on the market, to preserve a sense of self-esteem and, yes, satisfy our vanity. Nothing wrong with wanting to feel pretty.

I bought these for my mother who has Alzheimer's disease and is incontinent. She hates the other brands and it was always a fight to get her to wear them. She loves these! She doesn't know they are for incontinence, thinks they are her panties and now refuses to wear anything else. She calls them her 'good ones' and if I try to get her in anything else she says 'no, not those, get my good ones!' They have never leaked, fit just like regular underwear, make no noise and are soft. Next time I will order them as a monthly shipment.

My mother hates the way they feel.Says they're too bulky.I on the other hand chose these for her because I feel they are made well and are less bulky than others I have tried for her.

The nursing home provided diaper-type briefs for my mother-in-law, but she couldn't put the on herself, and she would not ask for help. These make it much easier for her to stay dry, and she can change them on her own. They aren't bulky, and they don't show under her clothes. I refer to them as her "underwear" and that seems to make her more comfortable.

Both of my parents are elderly and wear Depends every day so when these became available, I did not hesitate to try the men's and the women's to not only compare with what they're using today, but to get their feedback. The jury is back and they are, hands down, the best made and most comfortable undergarments on the market and they are completely thrilled with them.For starters, the peach stretchy material and elastic style waistband is a completely different fabric and is a much better fit than the standard undergarment. It holds it's shape much better, especially in a size small, which the others have a tendency to lose their shape and build gaps that cause a sagging look under clothes. They also do not have that crinkly weave for a waistband that causes my mother no end of itching and sometimes hives and her mood has even improved because she's that much more comfortable. I read someone else's one star review who claimed that these ripped when they tried to put them on, but I actually don't see how it's possible, since I rigorously tried to stretch and deshape one to the absolute limit and couldn't tear it when I tried, so there's a five star on the durability.They are maximum strength in absorbency, easily much better than the regular absorbency you may buy in a wholesale club whose prices are just too tempting.... which leads us to the only downside when doing comparisons... the price. They may seem alot more expensive coming in at over $1.00 per undergarment, especially if you're buying them at a wholesale club at .50 per undergarment or less, but to wear them daily and literally depend on them, no pun intended, there isn't a price that can be put on my parent's comfort combined with reliability. I know that's not the case for everyone, but if you can afford them, I haven't come across anything better and have already ordered the next two month's supply for them.

The fit is more like real underware, plus they also actually FEEL like real underware. She definitely prefers these to any other pullup and she's tried quite a few different ones over the past 9-10 years.Also, they are actually designed more like real underware. It is easy to tell the front from the back. There is NO guesswork with that. They have a label in the back and the front leg openings are cut more like normal underware.

The improvements to the briefs have made them a much poorer quality product. We have been ordering these for many, many months for the mother-in-law using subscribe & save. She was very happy with the product and had confidence putting the briefs on and using them.Not so any more.The improved briefs are thinner and the material rips more easily. Worse, the texture is not as smooth and the overall feel is of a much lower quality product.Time to find another brand.Please note that Amazon customer service were great and this is a review of the product and not Amazon.
