Nice in cocktails
Add to gin and ice for the perfect Martini. Lemon or lime it still tastes great.

The critical ingredient for a good Martini
Six parts gin to one part vermouth. Don't underestimate the importance of the vermouth. Pricey, at least when I bought it, but essentials. If possible use a good gin - ideally Tanqueray for a Gibson - but if you're going to cut corners don't do it on the vermouth.

Nostalgia
I love Noilly Prat, it reminds me of my beloved Grandma who used to enjoy this back in the 1950's. Grandpa would put with Gin and an olive for a 'Gin and French' or with red Vermouth and a red cocktail cherry for a 'Gin and It'. Lovely cocktail drinks. I keep up the family tradition now and again and especially at Christmas.

Better at the right price
Very expensive. This usually costs about £13.00. My friend was desperate so worth the extra.
