Fixed my stove
I had error of "SE or 5E" displayed on my stove which indicated a "stuck button" and this part fixed it. Not too difficult to replace. You pull the back metal cover off the back of the stove with a Phillips-head screw driver. You remove the ribbon cable from the left side of the "control board". Remove the screws from the control board and let it lay down. Then remove the screws that hold the touch-pad into place. Peel the touch-pad off the metal backing (I also remove the adhesive with brake cleaner) and install the new touch-pad. Put everything back together, takes about 15 mins total. The other reviewer's comments about a messed up display may be unrelated to this part... This membrane does not have anything to do with the numbers that light-up, this is simply the buttons. The numbers are located on the "control board"

Defective
Purchased in April 2020 and unit failed almost immediately. First the digit five stopped working, then digit 4, 9, the oven light. I tried to look up order on Amazon to check out warranty, as we are unable to bake at needed temperature this Thanksgiving. Amazon had a link saying contact manufacturer for warranty information. I have not been able to find it on their web site. Very disappointed with this purchase.Update 12/5/20: I received this reply from manufacturer:"Thank you for contacting DIY Repair regarding your question about the warranty of the part. We do not offer a warranty on our parts. We do appreciate you providing us with your Order ID #, unfortunately, we are unable to access your information. DIY Repair Parts does stands behind our products with a great return policy. All items may be returned within 30 days your original order date. We do not accept used or installed parts. If the order is past the 30 day return period for your order, we are unable to provide a replacement for your order. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing DIY Repair."I would not repurchase this part from Amazon or DIY Repair, instead, I purchased from SamsungParts.com, and the new part so far works perfectly. We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. I will never buy from DIY Parts again.

OEM
Simple DIY. Removed top rear panel, ribbon tape, circuit board & switch membrane plate. Peel off old & line up new OEM with existing holes. Remember to remove protective film from touchpad face prior to final installation. 6 years old stove returned to new. Touchpad operates to touch, not press. Saved hundreds from house call & marked up parts.Follow up review:SE error code returned after 8 months. Replaced today with another vendor’s membrane with a lower price.

Mostly works!!! : { Updated : }? Updated again : (
Ordered on 31 Dec and received on 5 Jan. (so much for two day shipping with OUR raised Prime Membership from 99 to 120 dollars Jeff). Samsung DG34-00020A Switch Membrane received is flawed and does not display properly. That is not time 1521, that is 1527. Many things displayed in the far right slot do not display properly (3, 5, 7, 9 etc.). The old membrane had a shorted Conv Bake key. All functions that I normally use of the membrane seem to work ok. I did not check the clean or delayed cook functions. Given two stars as to a brand new Samsung OEM part is faulty. Will update if part dies prematurely.Update: Bumped rating up to a four because 1 hour and 9 minutes in I noticed the membrane had magically corrected the faulty display area. Don't know if this is a good thing or bad but willing to accept this change in status.Update: OK, a little over 3 hours in and membrane is back to improperly displaying the far right display digit. Knocking back down to 2 stars and will remain there regardless of how long the unit lives or doesn't live.

Works great 👍
I almost paid 265.00 to fix my oven. Then I went on you tube and saw a video on how to fix it myself. So I order this part for my oven and followed the video on how to install it. Now it works perfectly. Just saved like 200.00 on repair guy coming to the house

Works but it doesn't last
Sam Sung Appliances are the worst, they break down right after the warranty ends. The customer service sucks they didn't want to give me the part number for this . I have replaced this 3 times already and the matching microwave oven hood broke right after the warranty ended. Sam Sung appliances looks modern, sleek and sexy but, it's a ticking time bomb beware. Stick with American made appliances. Beware of Kenmore some of theirs are Sam Sung made with the Kenmore badge on them. Lots of the appliance repair shops don't want to deal with Sam Sung products.
